Hey!! Same here..i really like the book a lot..her writing is amazing..despite its abstract-ness!!
13 Reasons Why, by Jay Asher. This book was not the type I would normally read, but it just kept catching my eye as I passed it on the shelf in the library. So I broke down and read it. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. Sure the book was sad, but it was also very interesting to think about why people choose to committ suicide. I really loved this book. :D
was easily my favorite book of the past month! So hysterical and romantic! I already want to read it again and I'm planning on giving it to all my friends so they can read it too!
Mockingjay- the last in The Hunger Games Trilogy. Actually the whole series. Addicting and engrossing. I devoured the whole series in a matter of days.btw: how are people able to have the picture of the books in their responses? Thanks :)
if you look at the right hand side at the top of the comment box you will see add book/author. Click that and type in the title or author. You can choose to add either a link or a cover at the bottom.

Thanks!
The book that I really like and I have recently read is Elixir by Hillary Duff. I was surprised. Even though I like her as a singer and as an actress, I wasn't quite sure how well this book was going to be. I really liked it though.
I read Matched by Ally Condie and really liked it. For those of you who liked the Giver, its like the Giver with the organized Society. But in Matched, there is a love triangle. Matched is the first book in a new series and I can't wait to read the next ones!

Pam wrote: "A Great and Terrible Beauty by Libba Bray. A little too mature for my middle school kids but a great supernatural tale for more mature readers."Pam, I really enjoyed this series for myself (definitely not one for my elementary students!)and went from book to book until I finished the set!
Mary Grace wrote: "
was absolutely amazing!"Love this book! I totally judged it by the cover and didn't pick it up for a long time, and then when I finally gave it a chance, I could not put it down.
Anna And The French Kiss by Steph Perkins. I'm posting a review about it next week, but it was awesome. The best YA romance I've read. EVER.

by the same author, enjoying it!"Ooh, it does look good, I'll have to go pick it up, if my library doesn't. :)"
It's been a big hit with our students. I like it too!
My favorite book from this month is definitely Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater! It totally swept me away!
the short second life of bree tanner by stephanie meyer because it explains alot about eclipse and it was sad cause bree didnt deserve to die... :LBut yeah..
Unwind, Matched and The Lying Games
Just read the first of the Maximum Ride series (The Angel Experiment.) Our school book club is reading it and we are loving it. We are fighting over the one copy we have of the next one, School's Out Forever. Max and her group of mutant avain children are out on a discovery of their origins and the identity of their real parents.

I also just finished Virals by Kathy Reichs (Temperance Brennan novels - Bones TV series) - she's now written an YA novel - really good!I also finished I Am Number Four which I loved and can't wait to see the movie version!

Who is the author of Delirium"
The author of Delirium is Lauren Oliver - I got to meet her at BEA last year and picked up the ARC of Delirium. It just came out yesterday! Highly recommend it!
Delirium is on my wishlist, it looks really good. My favorite book from recent reads would be Dash & Lily's Book of Dares, it's a YA romance. It was written from two perspectives and it alternates from chapter to chapter. Both of their points of view are unique and interesting. The concept was cute and fun and the setting brought it all to life the way only NYC can. I would recommend it to anyone.
