Why I Wrote My Book Unscrambled Eggs? Writing is my purpose, and I didn’t know that when I began. At times, I still am a child learning to find my voice, but I’ve come a long way from where I first started. Reading the Psalms from the Bible is what inspired some of my poems and is how I learned to start writing poetry. My book Unscrambled Eggs, is a collection of poems I wrote over a five year period. Unscrambled Eggs, which is the title poem was inspired by Pastor Joel Osteen. Although my poems are written on a variety of subjects, the book’s theme is about finding purpose and living your destiny.
