(5 stars)Fantastic read!"
I liked this book too! I love stories in which very different people are brought together by let's call it fate, get to know each other better than they even intended and end up becoming close friends. I guess you also read Hunting and Gathering, did you like it? What about 31 Dream Street? I liked that a lot too! Do you know of more similar books?

No, Lioba, I haven't read those other books you mentioned, but I am definitely going to check them out now. Yeah, I like that whole birds of a different feather coming together, too.

They sound great, will probably read Hunting and Gathering first, but it might be a bit before I get to it.

Great. Let me know what you think! I have Anna Gavalda's new one on my list... :)
56. To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee
(5 stars)Although this one is a reread, I am counting it as a read for this year, as each time I read it I gain more from it. It is one of my favorite books ever, and I wish there were more than 5 stars to give it.
61. Linger by Maggie Stiefvater
(5 stars)Somehow I left this one off when I read it in July. it was fanstastic!
66. Wonder Horse: The True Story of the World's Smartest Horse by Emily Arnold McCully
(4 stars)Even though this book is a picture book, I'm counting it, as it contained some great information and profound messages.
Carol wrote: "Are you an 'Aggie fan'? I just love her..."I have become one, Carol. I wasn't sure I was going to like her in the first couple of books, but now I'm finishing up the 8th one and am really enjoying her. I keep wanting to go right on to the next one, have checked out the next couple from the library and ordered a few from Amazon. How many have you read of her?
I think I have read all that Beaton has written...I keep scouring the libraries for new releases (for all my favorite authors) and I think Aggie is up to 22 or 23 by now. So you have a long way to go to exhaust the supply. It's been awhile since I have read the early ones, maybe I will give them another go myself.

I don't think I've ever started a series out of order before, but I did the Hamish ones, so I need to go back and read 1-14 or 15. Yikes! Beaton has a new series out, noticed that the 2nd in the series just came out. I can't remember the name of the character now, but I think I'm going to jump in early on it.
Carol wrote: "The titles are getting more and more prophetic...hmmm?"Seem to be. I have got to take a break from them soon, as my other reading is really piling up.

I read this for the first time recently (sadly) and I just loved it. I am definitely planning on reading this again later on. I think this tagged teamed with "The Help" makes a more profound impact...I read this one then "The Help" soon after and I think they elevated each other more.

Meagan, that's a great combination read, To Kill a Mockingbird and The Help!
78. Kissing Christmas Goodbye by M.C. Beaton
(4 stars)2 more Agatha Raisin books to go before I'm caught up in the series.
80. There Goes the Bride by M.C. Beaton
(4 stars)Finally, the last one so far in the series! Great series!
Carol wrote: "Sigh! Goodbye, Aggie...'til next new book."LOL! Well, at least it's not a long wait, Carol. The next one is due out in October.
Oh, Goody!...I wonder how long it will take our library to get on this bandwagon? By the way, how did you find that out, was it publicized?
