      3. The Book Thief by Markus Zusak
This book was REALLY good, I couldn't put it down. The story is narrated by 'Death' and it was creative, witty and haunting.

This book was written by a friend of mine and the story was engaging.
 5. Feminine Appeal by Carolyn Mahaney
      5. Feminine Appeal by Carolyn Mahaney
This was one of the best Christian books for women that I've ever read!! Gives women clear, encouraging information on living your life according to scripture and the joy that it can bring.

     7. The Lost City of Z: A Tale of Deadly Obsession in the Amazon by David Grann
      7. The Lost City of Z: A Tale of Deadly Obsession in the Amazon by David Grann
This was an interesting book. Some parts had too much detail but overall it was a good. It's a true story about an explorer that disappeared in the Amazon. It was sad at times though because his whole world revolved around finding the lost city of Z...nothing else seemed to matter and it cost him his life.
 8. Shakespeare's Landlord (Lily Bard Mystery, #1) by Charlaine Harris
      8. Shakespeare's Landlord (Lily Bard Mystery, #1) by Charlaine Harris

      11. Shakespeare's Trollop (Lily Bard Mystery, #4) by Charlaine Harrie
12. The Uncommon Reader: A Novella by Alan Bennett

This book was short but packed quite a punch. The story is about the Queen of England and she has suddenly found a love for reading late in life. The impact on the Queen and the people around her was interesting. Anyone that loves to read will enjoy the book references.

      18. The Help by Kathryn Stockett
This was a wonderful book and I really enjoyed the writing style. The book is told from the perspective of 3 different women in Jackson Mississippi during the 1960s. It had a lot of sad moments but some laugh out loud moments too.
 19. Angelology by Danielle Trussoni
      19. Angelology by Danielle Trussoni
Interesting topic and engaging but at the same time I found myself having trouble getting through it. The ending was also a let down. The author seemed to be more worried about setting it up for a sequel then actually writing a satisfying ending.
 20. Secrets of a Summer Night (Wallflowers, #1) by Lisa Kleypas
      20. Secrets of a Summer Night (Wallflowers, #1) by Lisa Kleypas

I finished it yesterday - my boys were napping so I think I read for about 2 hours straight :). LOVED it! I can't wait for the second one and it is probably going to kill me to wait until August for the final book. Now I understand what all the fuss has been about.

      26. I Am the Messenger by Markus Zusak
This book was good. It was dark, witty and unsettling. I want to read everything that Markus Zusak has written. The Book Thief and I Am the Messenger were really amazing.

He has a new book coming out at the end of the year, I think, called Bridge of Clay. I saw him read a bit from it at the Adelaide Writers' Week in March and it sounded wonderful! He's such a beautiful person, too, and so appreciative of the praise he's received from his fans, so it makes you want to go out there and buy everything he's every written :)
 30. Emma by Jane Austen
      30. Emma by Jane Austen
This book was difficult at first because all you want to do is strangle Emma. But overall I enjoyed it.
 31. The Lost Symbol by Dan Brown
      31. The Lost Symbol by Dan Brown
This book was a little painful for me. I read it for my book club and I'm just not a Dan Brown fan.

     37. Mockingjay by Susanne Collins

This series was nothing short of amazing! I'm still shocked that this was a YA series. It was so good! Everyone should read them.
 38. Northanger Abbey by Jane Austen
      38. Northanger Abbey by Jane Austen
This was a good read but a little disjointed. I enjoyed her spoof on gothic novels.
