lol, I know how it is. Sometimes your just not feeling it, and you have to put it down. Hopefully, when you do pick it up it will be a better experience for you. =3
I'm reading James Potter and the Vault of Destinies by G. Norman Lippert. This is book 3 in the JP series. The author is releasing it a chapter a day (free) starting 1/1/10 until the book is complete. (There are 25 chapters). You can find them here:http://www.jamespotterseries.com/JPVO...
Once all chapters are released, he'll combine them into one pdf file.
finished Tithe, and am now moving on to Poison Study. When I finish I'll be able to get in on the discussion. :)

Kenjii wrote: "I liked both Passion Unleashed and Awaken me Darkly. Will you be reading Ecstasy Unveiled Bk#4?"I will most definitely be reading Ecstasy Unveiled! I loved all 3 books but Passion Unleashed was really adorable & funny, Wraith is super cute. Still reading Awaken Me Darkly but just finished
by LuAnn McLane & it was sort of like romantica with a great sense of humor, I really enjoyed it!
I just finished Ecstasy by Jacquelyn Frank. It started out a little slow but picked up in the middle. All in all it turned out to be a pretty good read. I'm now reading
Finished:
I liked S. Kenyon's B.A.D agent story. This one about a gangster and it was HOT! Besides men in uniform. I love a bad boy. I also read Jaid Black's Viking story. I like her series and love her sex scenes. She's a great writer all around.
Started:
Barely into this one but I do like the world creation of present times and Arthurian knights/objects of magic.
This AM I started off with a semi-quickie lol:
It's Jet Mykles. So far its a female with her 4 male friends. She just broken up with her b/f and is lonely....
when I am sitting in here watching tv I have a couple books to read during commercials. Then I have my bedtime, or "in my room" books. Last night I was really tired and just went straight to sleep :-O
I just finished
and really enjoyed it. I loved that she used the Spartans as the male heroes. I just kept picturing the hot men from the 300 movie through the whole book - YUM! I'm now moving on to
Those sound like some pretty awesome books. See this is why I love this group. I get so many good ideas from you guys!!
I am reading
but I REALLY cant stand it atm lol..
I am sticking with it because its J.R. Ward hoping that it will get better.

Finished Shadow Game it was good, put a review up. Now I'm reading a book that I won on goodreads
, and I'll probably also start something else for a challenge. I haven't decided what yet.
I'm reading The Green Mile by Stephen King. At the rate I'm going I'll have it done in two days but want to finish it before Saturday night when the Tom Hanks movie version of it is airing on AMC.

I had a really tough time getting into it, too. But once I pushed through the beginning, I couldn't put it down.
It seems that the Angel-genre are possibly going to be as big as the Vampire-genre soon.

Agreeeed. We have to remember that this is a "set up book", and hopefully from here the series will get better.
And btw, I'm going to read Tithe after the Vampire Academy books.
You were right! I DO like it!!!
The beginning was just weird and boring and now I cant wait to find out what happens! lol I am about 70% through :D I will probably finish it this evening.

Yup, that's how I was. I had to re-read the first 5% (kindle) a few times to even care. Then I sat down with lots of chocolate and was determined to make it through. One thing I liked about it, is that J.R. Ward stuck with a paranormal story line, but there was actually a lot of mystery involved. I was GLUED to it.
Yeah I am loving how there isn't a lot of romance in this one, not that I don't like romance but I am more into plot and action now a days hehe.
Glad it picked up for you guys :DOhh, and I hope you like the Vampire academy books Amanda. They really get progressively better, and the last two are the best. They leave you on pretty good cliff hangers. I can't wait for the next one that is coming out this year sometime.Tithe was ok, but it wasn't something that I liked too much.
I finished The Girl Who Chased the Moon. It was a really cute read. Right now I'm in the middle of
, and I love it so far. Its all epic fantasy, complete with a discredited knight trying to save the world and clear his name in the process. ;P
Finished reading Poison Study, Magic Study and listening to Kitty and the Midnight Hour. I've given up on The Rest Falls Away. Currently reading Once a Witch
I just started Skin Trade. I loved the rest of the series, but have heard a lot of bad things about this book. I'm hoping that it's not that bad, but I'll see....:)
I just finished
and really didn't think it was that great. I found the female character to be whiny and self depreciating and the male fae character to be mean and indecisive. He couldn't seem to decide if he wanted the girl or not, and then took out his anger about it on her. Anyway, I could only give it 3 stars. I'm now moving on to
I want to read a book that I own even tho i have alot of library books that I need to read as well . So I picked up a Thriller with no Fantasy in it called The Camel Club by david baldacci and im about to get into that I also have a library book due in about 2 days that I need to work on and i am trying my best to make it the The Summoning its soo slow i love fast books idk if ill read anymore Kelley Armstrong if all her Paranormal books are this slow. I just dont have the time in my life for slow reads lol.
I finished Dark Stranger by Susan Sizemore. I really enjoyed it. Great alien and vampire story. I'm now reading
♦Jennifer♦ wrote: "started Full Moon Rising by Keri Arthur. So far, so good :P"I was going to get that book from my job but im wasnt sure if It would be good hmm it seems like when i read the back it would be more erotic than action packed fantasy or paranormal

I just finished it. There is definitely a good amount of sex in it, but I don't really think that it over powers the action in it. I hate when books override the story with sex. Especially when they claim to be more of the action fantasy/paranormal genre, but this one had a really great plot that is going to make me want to check out the second one.
Moving on to Prey by Rachel Vincent
I started Carpe Demon and I can't believe I saying this, but I don't like it. The book is going to the 'Not-going-to happen' bookshelf. I started reading Tainted, but got turned off by the monster and the frog. I'm not putting that book in the 'Not-going-to happen' bookshelf, but I'm putting it down from now. I am reading a non UF book Nightshade.
Finished
& ended up buying it because I loved it SO much - if you haven't read it, DO! This is the book I'm advertising to everyone who will listen lately, it's so incredibly sweet & tender yet heartbreaking & the words are so beautiful they're almost prose. It's incredibly well written. Also finished
& will probably continue the series& am currently reading
which I've been waiting for for a while so I'm super excited about it! As much as I love vamps & weres, the banshee angle is a fresh take at the supernatural :)
Allison: I am looking forward to reading the Soul Screamers series. I am waiting to finish some of the series I started last year [2009:] before starting anything new.
I can't wait to read Shiver, but I'll be waiting until it's released in paperback.I just finished Uninvited by Amanda Marrone, which I really didn't like. I'm now reading Marrone's Revealers, which is already shaping up to be much better.
Amanda wrote: "I finished
