Jayme(theghostreader) (jaymetheghostreader) | 3120 comments I am "finally" done reading "The Historian" by Elizabeth Kostova. It was a 704pp book *faint*. I decided to use it for 15.3 read a historical fiction book about a time period you never read before. Well I certainly haven't read anything about Vlad the Impaler, the historical figure out anything about Romania or Hungary and I certainly learned from this book. I would not read it again. Overall I give it 4 stars based on the characters and the history and how it turned out.

Points for this task 15+8(bonus points for 704pp book) =23

New Points 187

Jayme(theghostreader) (jaymetheghostreader) | 3120 comments I just finished "The Eight" by Katherine Neville for task 25.4 read a HF book that spans a new year, a decade or a millineium. This book seemed to fit that category.

i was going to give it a go in tandem to this one just for fun, as i enjoy fitting books to tasks as much as anything but its really too big in there now, im not a fan anymore, i liked the first one i did of those, but that was about 5 challenges back or something and it was a bit smaller. even then i suspected some people of just reading an implausable ammount i.e making it up.
