LOL true at times she can be a bit TSTL for what it is worth she is starting to outgrow it.
I just read
which was a disappointment, ended up only reading 3 stories in them and they weren't that great. I will move on to
and
next.
Finished Moira Young's "Blood Red Road". It was very good, and different. Right now, I'm going to start Jenn Bennett's "Kindling the Moon".
Dawn wrote: "LOL true at times she can be a bit TSTL for what it is worth she is starting to outgrow it."haha yea thats true.
for someone who's suppose to be as old as she is she's acts like a teenager alot.
also half the characters in the book are somewhat insane, lol.
and why a fish?? out of everything the big bad guy could of done he chose a fish?? lol weird.
I finished "Kindling the Moon". And now, I'm very late on starting yet another series, Vampire Academy. I was convinced to read it, since all the teen politics and things put me off, but I must say, I'm liking the first book so far. :).
I'm currently reading
for school but it's taking me forever cause I'm not good at reading non-fiction books
currently reading
- so far the book is pretty good. better then the first one and toby isnt as TSTL but still pretty dumb.
on page 181 of
- so far the book can be pretty confusing and the characters seem to be missing something but im pretty determined to stick it out until the end.
I finished
which was pretty good. The Bones story takes place right before he meets Cat. Finishing up
and I started
.
Brianna wrote: "Finished Shadowfever by Karen Marie Moning. I started Claudia Gray's Fateful. After this, I think I'll do a reread of the Hunger Games, been in the mood for good dystopian fiction."Have you tried Joss Ware's series? Beyond the Night Enjoyed this book. I'm not a big dystopian fan, though.
I tried reading The Angel Experimentbut the 1-2 page chapters drove me nuts. Am now reading
. A *lot* going on in that book. Too many storylines/flashbacks. But am too far in to bail out now. :P
still reading
I like read a few pages here and there but I end up wanting to fall asleep. I'm also still reading
this is also taking me a minute cause of the other book. but no matter what I gotta be done with the Castro book on SUnday cause the paper is due on Sunday and I am hoping to be done with Hot Blooded tonight.
Finally finished
. It took me forever. The story was ok, but I just couldnt get into it.I am soooo far behind in my reading.
Marsha wrote: "Right now, I'm zipping through Magic in the Shadows. This is an interesting series!"I really enjoyed that series. I can't wait until the next book comes out.
I finished
good book, going to finish the very long
but I'm also like half way through
also another good book, keeps you occupied when you have a sick kid in the middle of the night.
Brianna wrote: "oo, I was thinking of reading those next. What are everyone's opinions on it?"I am really enjoying this series, but I there is another series similar in nature (maybe a bit darker, grittier) and that's the Unholy Ghosts series by Stacia Kane. But, you should give it a try - it's been a great read so far.
Read
in 3 days. It was a great book! funny, the plot was great, kept at a wonderful pace. Already have his other books waiting for me.
Oh, I really, really liked the Downside Ghosts series. Lol. Guess I have a thing for gritty, dark urban fantasy series. :).
currently reading
for an october reading challenge.so far its pretty good. the character is like alot of other characters but still fun to read, maybe cause i havent read about a wizard yet.
liking the descriptions and the soul gazing. - jim butcher has an interesting imagination (not as good as D.D. Barant but still pretty out there). ;)
Jenne wrote: "I finished
which was amazing! Now I'm reading
."Me too I thought it was really well done too! Just a very slow sweet story.
I'm reading Lili St. Crow's "Strange Angels". I like it. I couldn't decide whether to reread her "Dante Valentine" series, or reread "Night Shift" and go from there in reading Jill Kismet. Therefore, I just went with the YA choice, to see how she does there. Love her writing.

I cannot wait!
Finishing rereading (audio)
and
all this after reading
...LOL! Excellent for October reading. And then, I will start
.
Currently reading Magic on the Storm
(I'm enjoying this series) and patiently awaiting the next Downside Ghosts book (#4) by Stacia Kane. I know it will be a LONG wait. Still looking for more dark and gritty books like that series, though I have had a few really great suggestions.

I'm working my way through the Dresdon series and am really enjoying it! I couldn't believe that Spike from Buffy (James Marsters) is the narrator on the audiobooks. Enjoying both the written and the audio!
Next up for me is
, just started this one and am not sure what to think about it yet. It seems to be a futuristic space thing set in the military, then will move on to
Finished
which was great! Started
I'm having to get used to Risa being grown. I keep thinking of her as a baby from Riley Jensen's series still.
