What are you reading right now? Part Deux!
Just finished:
Waiting on some books I requested from the library, so I had to find enough books to last me a couple of days...

I read that on Amazon and it put me off a little to be honest. It's not a cheap book either (almost twice the price of a regular novel). I was more interested in the next one Shifting Plains but this one is set hundreds of years prior to the Sons... So I'm undecided about this one too.
I read
, I'm going to continue with this series. I quite liked this one. Also read
I'm reading the next 2 for a challenge next month. And also
- I really liked this one.Yesterday I won an E-ARC of
I'm probably going to read this one tomorrow - sound's interesting!
Currently reading Archangel's Consort by Nalini Singh and Dark Needs at Night's Edge by Kresley Cole.
Michelle, the Guardians Of Eternty is a fun series that I like alot. IMO, while I liked the first book it is also the weakest. Enjoy the series :)Currently finishing up Archangel's Consort by Nalini Singh

I often find first books are like that, usually I will try 2 or 3 before giving up entirely. I have 2-4 sitting waiting to be read. You can usually tell if a series is going to have potential and I think this one does... I hope so! I'm running out of longish series to try. I picked these up over a year ago when Borders was closing and it was 90% off all PNR - to say I stocked up is an understatement! :)

Nighthawk is extremely short and is available free (the link is on the book page). It's only about 15 pages or so long, more of a teaser of what's to come but I did like it. My only complaint was that I wanted more and if not for the quarterly challenge I want to read them for I would have already read the next one or two!
This series is set after Lora Leigh's Tempting Seals books but can be read as standalones and in my opinion I loved
more and i'm hoping the rest follow the same way.
I read
I do love tigers :)Starting
- it's a re-read before I carry on with the series. Last year I managed to get up-to-date with quite a lot of my longer series so now I'm free to start some more, or continue with some I put on hold previously.

I liked the one about Nikki the best Go, Fetch!
. Has anyone else read that one?
Kyami wrote: "I liked the one about Nikki the best Go, Fetch! Go Fetch! (Magnus Pack, #2). Has anyone else read that one? "I have read that one as well Kyami. She is a little too crazy for me, but she does have a really great line in Here Kitty Kitty. One about needing a tiger skin rug for the wall after busting in on them with a big gun.

I have read it aswell, she's not my favourite of the girls. I like Angelina's sense of humour more. I love the interactions between her and Nik. He's far more my type than Conall.
Do either of you know if there are any more in the series?
Clare wrote: "Just finished Demon from the Dark now starting to read Dreams of a Dark Warrior"I'm so jealous! It's not out here until 1st March, I keep checking Amazon just to make sure :)
Michelle wrote: "Do either of you know if there are any more in the series?"I haven't heard, but it seems like she would be done as there are no more women.
Finished
. Didn't really like it. I had problems with her other series as well so I guess I just dont like her style of writing. Starting

There are no more in the Magnus Pack series, but there's the Pride series that starts with
The Mane Event. I like it even better than the Magnus Pack, and so far there are five books with a new one coming out this spring.

I was hoping to find out more about the relationship with Zach's sister and Nik's brother. Why exactly she left and what will happen when she gets back. The conversation they had in the last one seemed to be setting that up. Maybe she will write it eventually!

I think that's one of the one's I bought. I enjoyed her books that much I bought the first books in another 2 of her series. Thanks for the suggestion, I will look into it more on payday! ;)

it's a short about Miki's professor when she first meets her Hubby :)
I read that one. Irene is a hoot. I guess you could consider it to be the "first" since it sets up the Van Holtz pack a bit. Van Holtz shows up in the Pride series later with a larger role given to his younger cousin Ric. I think Ric is the hero of the next book in the Pride series. Can't wait!

My reading over the past week has been super slow thanks to work and school. Which is a real shame because so many good books have come in this week from PBS and the library.Anyway just finished
love it! I would give it 4.5 stars. Now reading

I thought it was odd. It was only related superficially. The book was 4 short stories, with one character a main player in the next one, so the connection was a thin one. And the only way that these stories were connected to the other 8 books was that they were set in the same world. There was only a small reference to Nightfall and the people there.
Because of those things I was a little disappointed in it. But if I had realized that going in I probably would have liked the book better.
