Darcy, if you've heard the words "info dump," you've heard correctly. I think I'd like the story if I ever get there. I usually like Linda Howard, so this is weird.
Just finished
good book I really liked it. I know a lot of people compare it to the Dresden Files and I am not sure why.Now reading
man that Cassie is always in the middle of something!

Jess wrote: "That's surprising to hear!!! I think there's only been one book I haven't liked by her. "I think it is because I have been listening to some of her older ones lately. I grab the audios when I see them in the library as I know they are good ones to listen to around the house and you don't have to pay all that much attention.
I'm wondering if this is because the book is a collaboration between Howard and someone named Linda Jones. I don't know her. Maybe they didn't get the writing process/world building quite ironed out.

I need to give it some more time before I can say if it just has a rocky start or isn't good altogether. Time will tell...
I just finished
and it was fantastic. Ill be starting the third book of
which has been an amazing series.

and it's pretty damn good. only got like 50 pages left."I tried the audio on this one a couple of months ago and could not get into it....I know a lot of people who really liked it....I'm thinking on trying to read it vs listening to it....

Yeah I'm a visual reader, I don't have the attention span of the audio books. But I do like this book, I love all the action in it, and I'm not just talking about the sex, or sexual tension.
I finished reading
and
and
on Audio.I'm now reading
and waiting on several Audio books from the Library.
just finished
and will be starting one of the challenge books...not sure which one yet and have started the audio for
I'm reading
, I'm having a hard time with this one. I'm not sure if it's me or the book. The last couple of weeks have been hell & it's just not holding my interest for very long.
still listening to
...really liking this but I am not going to be happy to have to wait another year for the next book ;-(and started
I just finished
, which was really good, and next will be
.I just finished listening to
, and just started listening to
at work, and am listening to
at home.
Finished
earlier this week, and L-O-V-E-D it. So, of course, I'm reading the next in the Chess Putnam/Downside Ghosts series
Both are unlike anything I've read. Excellent, gritty urban fantasy with a surprising heroine.
I just finished
Fantastic tale of Mystery. It felt like CSI meets vamp? A well respected research Dr. comes into contact with women/being that has some very odd test results, and brain waves a random heart beat but she's dead ? These test draw her into a world she could have never though possible before, challenging her every belief. The "women ?" has a long and dark past which she shares with Dr. the mystery gets deeper.....Written with intelligence with strong world building.I can't wait for the next book in this trilogy
I finished
(YA) is is about Nick Gautier as a young teen when he first hooked up with Kyrian. It is full of snarky comments and background information on Ash, Kryian, Nick, his mother and some other squires. I loved it. Great for the Dark Hunter fan
I'm reading Kissing Sin by Keri Arthur...and falling madly in love with Quinn. From reading the series synopsis, I know he doesn't stick around....considering skipping the next couple of books until he reappears!
Naomi wrote: "I'm reading Kissing Sin by Keri Arthur...and falling madly in love with Quinn. While he isn't always front and center, he is there and it makes it worth it in the end if you know all of their history.
I`m reading the first Anita Blake at the speed of sound for me.I love this book and her take on the vamps and critters and the way they have been accepted and even protected by lawI`ve had some good laughs along the way too

The deeper i get into the book, the deeper im pulled into the story.

Anita Blake is great up to OBSIDIAN BUTTERFLY. NARCISSUS IN CHAINS is okay, but after that forget it!
Finished
this afternoon. Wow, just wow. I'm so in love with this series. The ending was enough to make me pre-order the third book, City of Ghosts, immediately. (BTW, the love triangle gets revved up in the second book. Very tense.)
Next for me is
and
. I am excited to read Radiant Shadows now after reading the 2 little free stories Marr has out.
I finished
and am now reading
. I seem to be going with a shirtless man on the cover theme this week.
Darcy wrote: "Next for me is

Samantha wrote: "Darcy wrote: "Next for me is

I just finished listening to
and while it was an awesome book....I am pissed that I have to wait 8 months for the next book......(stomping foot)I keep telling myself to wait until a series is done before starting but I can't seem to help myself.....patience is not one of my virtues....
Finished
and
after getting side tracked from both.ALso read
. I have mixed feelings about this book. I like the alternate universe thing and the vamps and were thing. The comic book thing though...there were too many long winded explanations about concepts and things.
