I like coffee, it just doesn't like me. It upsets my stomach. Too bad, because I love iced coffee and frappachinos.

About as stupid as my sleep-depriving myself for no good reason, I suppose. LOL.

It's not a cookie mother, it's a fruit newton.

I push it with dairy products. I think I'm mildly lactose-intolerant. The problem is I love dairy. I'm sorry, but Soy milk is nasty. It tastes like soap to me.

message 61: by new_user (new)

new_user Big dairy person myself. Yogurt and milk every day. :D

message 62: by new_user (last edited Feb 05, 2010 04:59PM) (new)

new_user LOL, Eugenia, that's true, but they push it mostly because it's a good source for calcium and Vit D, and your body needs a lot of calcium especially.

Elise-Pinterest+Goodreads=The Perfect Book Boyfriend (eliselovesshinyandnew) | 56 comments Okay, I'll join in on bad habits:

1. I stay on the computer way more than I should, including at work.

2. When I get a personal call at work, if they won't get off the phone sometimes I'll make someone come in my office so I can say "someone just came into my office, I have got to go" because I don't want to lie.

3. I am an emotional shopper. If I am having a bad day/week, look out, I am going to spend big time (that's how I ended up with the Kindle-LOL)

4. I cannot, cannot, cannot, return a library book on time (I am currently banned from the library by my husband). Another reason why I have a Kindle.

5. I will watch the Preview channel like a sitcom if I ever turn to it. I will watch that stupid thing scroll for hours before I catch myself. Sad, I know.

message 64: by new_user (new)

new_user LOL, Saninbham, I never return them on time either!

Saninbham, I am an emotional shopper, too. Especially for books.

I don't use the library anymore, because I can never get all the books read by the due date, and I am very bad at reading according to a plan. I like to pick up a random book and read it.

--I have heard that about most people being lactose intolerant. I love dairy too much to give it up, even though I occasionally have some stomach issues. I probably have a little irritable bowel too. Now that I'm home and eating better, my stomach is doing much better.

Nisha (parakisu) | 55 comments 1) thinking that peeing is a waste of time, so waiting until I am either really desperate or when I finally have to get up because someone needs me up
2) Deciding that its ok to sleep at 4am because I need to finish a book
3) Skipping out on parties and events (where I might meet someone I could date) because i would rather read
4) Job searching for a total of 30 minutes as I read for a few hours

Wow, we have the first three in common, Nisha. I also am bad about procrastinating on things I really should be doing, for the 'fun' tasks. I hate mundane tasks. Seriously.

Stacy-Deanne Stacy-Deanne (wwwgoodreadscomstacydeanne) 1. Watching porn movies (yeah, don't act like I'm the only one) LOL!

2. Not going to church. (Yeah I know.)

3. When I'm in a crowd or store and I can't hold it, I might pass gas, run and blame it on the person that was standing next to me. (And don't act like you guys don't do it! LOL!)

4. Pretend I always wanna hear everyone else's problems. I like giving advice but some days I do fake it because I just don't want to hear it. Maybe I should be honest with them, but that takes too much energy, LOL!

5. Having sexual fantasies while watching NBA basketball.

6. Sitting down to write (like now), but end up cruising the web for hours.

7. Eating out of containers after telling others not to eat out of containers.

8. Letting myself get so stressed and worrying about things I can't control or things that don't really matter.

9. Doubting myself sometimes

10. Eating ice cream knowing damn well I'm lactose intolerant!

Best Wishes!

Sometimes, I do that. I come to my computer to write, but I wind up browsing the internet. I might get a page written. Don't get me wrong, sometimes browsing the internet doesn't stop me from getting an installment done or finished.

Stacy-Deanne Stacy-Deanne (wwwgoodreadscomstacydeanne) Yep, I always get my stuff done too. Stacy-Deanne Stacy-Deanne (wwwgoodreadscomstacydeanne) LOL! You guys!

Arch said:

"The internet can be a distraction."

So true, so true. Some people actually are addicted to the net and that's scary. That's why some people get fired because they are on the net at work constantly and even when the boss warns them or tell them to stop, they actually can't. If a person loses their job because they can't get off the Internet, you know they are addicted to it!

It's a great source of information and fun but you gotta juggle it between your priorities. It's just like people who play video games all day. It's not good to overdo anything. The problem used to be people watched television all the time and were couch potatoes. Not anymore. The Internet and video games have more people hooked than television ever did and it's getting worse.

Not to get preachy but this is why I think parents should monitor their children's usage of the Internet and make sure they know what they are doing at all times. I also think a lot of children are growing up to depend too much on the Internet and they are becoming addicted to what they see. Not all, but some. The Internet is a wonderful invention and is now a part of life. But it can also be very dangerous for adults as well. Especially women because they are especially targeted online by all kinds of people.

Best Wishes!

Does the candy man pass and spray candy for the mosquitoes, where you live?

I call the mosquito spray candy. All those years, I would hear them pass and spray. Those mosquitoes are immune to that stuff.

I haven't had a mosquito bite me yet.

You ladies need to spray Off on your body. They could be biting you, because they like your perfume or whatever you put on your body.

lol, they might they they are starring in Twilight or New Moon.
