Hi Brigid! :) How are you on this wonderful winter morning? Is it snowing where you are? It's snowing here! It was snowing yesterday too... and I think we might have a couple inches by now (we would have more, but anything that was there before melted on Christmas because of the rain)

Hi Roni! I'm good … still working away at my NaNo novel (almost done … but it's like epically long. ugh. O_o) Ouch I burned my tongue on my coffee … blaahhh. Anyway. No, it's not snowing. *sigh* There was some snow but it all melted a couple of days ago. :(

Oh. :/ I really like snow, but at the same time, I sometimes hate it. But usually the snow is good. :) Ice and freezing temperatures are a different story, though.

BTW are you enjoying the break from school?

Same, same. Snow is ice for like a few days, and then it gets all gross and annoying. Blah. It's pretty but I don't want to walk through it. Heh heh. Ugh, I hate ice and cold though, yeah. :P

Yup yup. Getting a lot of writing done. I still need to do homework though … O_o gah. How about you? :)

Pretty good. The week before christmas I baked 22 cakes for a wedding the day after christams. They had table cakes.

Yesterday night, I went to a concert. The first have kind of sucked, but after that the music got much better. Trans-Siberian Orchestra is pretty cool!

Da-yummmm. That is a lot of cakes. Haha :D More cakes than I've baked in my whole life. (which is zero. i'm afraid of baking.)

Well, my mom makes wedding cakes... and other cakes... and sells chocolates. So, I'm the one baking most of the cakes. She frosts, fills and decorates them though.

That was actually the first concert that I've ever been to. :D The music is neoclassical. It's a very cool sound.

Interesting! I've only been to one concert too … last year. Adele. She was amaaazzzinnggg live. :D It was awesome. I also became obsessed with the opening band (The Script ^_^ squee!)

I WANT IT TO SNOW WHERE I AM. But we're going skiing up in the mountains tomorrow- hopefully they'll be some snow there.

Oh. There's actually a ski hill less than five minutes from my house, so a lot a of people in my town ski.

Ohh that's cool. There aren't a lot of good skiing places around here … good hills for sledding though.

When I went skiing it was in Vermont. haha.

Well, the ski hill hasn't always been there. It has been there for a long time, though. I'm not sure when they built it.

and yes, I did just say that they built the hill. They basically took a bunch of trash and made it into something useful.

How can you not ski? Augh!!! Skiing is my life. No,w riting and photography is my life, and skiing is what I do during the winter. Thank god NaNo isn't in January... :D

Gee … I need to get a better camera. My old one was a piece of crap and then it broke. hehe O_o

Thanks. I got a macro lens last year and so that's a lot of fun. No worries. my camera is a 20#. It's only got ten megapixels, and now there are some point-and-shoots that get that much. But my cmaera can change lenses and it's manual, so that's why I love it, even though it's five years old now.

But writing has taken away from my photos some. That makes me a little sad.

Yeah can't really be helped though. But I've only taken 5 picutres in the last coupla months. But I'm going skiing tomorrow and that always lends interesting oppertunities. I'll just see what happens.

Yeah. I had to get a backpack for it and my lenses, but I love my camera... :-)

Gah, same here. It's snowing right now, actually … and it's … *checks* … 35 degrees. plus the weather forecast says it's supposed to be raining. how strange. XD
