WHAT? You can't ask for a gift back. What the hell? I suppose there are exceptions, but you'd have to be WAY close to a person to do that. Like..."hey, if you don't like your snuggie, toss it my way."
Yeah, that's rudeness. Kids learn about that in elem. school with the very un-PC "Indian giver"!
i never re-gift anything. i would feel too guilty and would be really disappointed if someone re-gifted something i got them. if they donated it to a needy deal somewhere would be better. re-gifting is totally cheap in my book. even if you cannot afford to buy something for someone, make them something or write them a poem or something



A lady I know was griping to me that she had given an expensive gift. It was used for a qhile, but now that it is not being used, she wants to ask for it back?1 (Not from me--I just heard her griping about it again).
I feel once you give a gift, you should have no say. Yes, if the recipient does not use the gift, you can feel disappointed but that's life!
