Review of Inside Out by Maria V Snyder and Interview with NYT Bestselling Author Maria V. Snyder!

Kyle Borland (kgborland) Submitted my story "Shoshanna" for a project and it was chosen! I have already gone through the edits with the editors and I'm so excited with this process.

How has everyone been?

Kyle Borland (kgborland) *brushes the cobwebs out of the corners of my krater*

Wow...its quiet in here. Anybody there? *echoes*

I need to re-vamp this place!

Malin (tusenord) What kind of project was Shoshanna for? How was it to work with editors?

message 105: by Kyle (new)

Kyle Borland (kgborland) Shoshanna is part of a small anthology put together by a small group of writers here on Goodreads. It's a YA anthology and there are stories ranging from cyborgs, to assassins, to high schoolers who find out some crazy things about themselves. There's something for everyone in there even with only 10 stories.

The editors? I loved them! You might know one of them: Wendy? From Wendy's Farmland thread in this group? She was one of them, she absolutely amazing in every aspect. The other editors name was Rita, I don't know if you know her but you should. She's semi-active in Writer's Review though so you'll meet her eventually. She's great too.

Both of them are my friends so it was automatically easy to get along with them. As far as the edits went? They were great. They offered great changes to Shoshanna and it was all around a great experience. I'm so glad to have been a part of it.

PLUS, now i Have that (Goodreads Author) tag because of unlocked and everytime I see it I get a little excited :P Stupid? Probably a little bit...lol!

Malin (tusenord) Yeah, I know both of them. My editor (freelance) is a friend as well and it makes it easy to discuss the suggested changes.

It's a cool tag! I want it too. So, can you add your blog to your profile? I want to add mine to my profile but can't figure out how.

And it's not stupid. One is entitled to be proud of oneself.

Kyle Borland (kgborland) haha! Thanks Malin :D

To add your blog to your profile go to edit profile and where it says "website" just put the url to your blog :D

message 108: by Malin (new)

Malin (tusenord) I've done that, but I've seen that some people have a "space" on their profile for the first few words out of their blog + updates in it are automatically uploaded in your feed. I don't think it does that mine.

Kyle Borland (kgborland) That is only for Goodreads Authors I think but I'm not sure because it only did that for me once I became a goodreads author but I could be wrong.
