Zakiya LadyWings (zladywings) That's not exactly a small list, Elyssa. LOL :)
I think I'll use an actual list too though. It's very organized.

message 2: by [deleted user] (new)

Well-displayed list! Mine is like 4 books long lol. But I'll add more as I get there. Nice job!

message 3: by [deleted user] (new)

I plan on adding my finished book to the top of the list and crossing it off as I go. There are so many I want to read. These are a few at the top. It just keeps me in check sometimes. I'm a book genre slut though. I can't stay in one area too long.

message 4: by Zakiya (new)

Zakiya LadyWings (zladywings) I try to be diverse, but that only seems to work with genres of music...

message 5: by [deleted user] (new)

Ah, music... I seem to be going through a phase where I'm listening to all the good music from 10 years ago. Back when I was in HS.

message 6: by Zakiya (new)

Zakiya LadyWings (zladywings) Wow, that's definitely a phase; n/o (no offense)

message 7: by [deleted user] (new)

Non taken. Nostalgic memories, LOL. I found old CD's and burned ones from way back when.

message 8: by Zakiya (new)

Zakiya LadyWings (zladywings) ha, I love when people say "way back when..." I find it strangely hilarious.

message 9: by [deleted user] (new)

I wish it was yesterday... Ah to turn back time.

message 10: by Leanne (new)

Leanne (leanneisperf) hahaa you are so weird zicka (i still remeber when kaitlin was righting me and was like HOW DO YOU SPELL HER NAME !!!!) haha

message 11: by Zakiya (new)

Zakiya LadyWings (zladywings) lol that musta been sooo funny!! lololol :))))

message 12: by [deleted user] (new)

Graceling is an awesome book :D If you like it you should read her second book based in a different kingdom, "Fire". Not as good though, in my opinion. The main character also reminded me of the girl in "The Hunger Games".

message 13: by [deleted user] (new)

I haven't read hunger games yet, is that one worth picking up? I heard good and bad about the book so I'm iffy.

message 14: by [deleted user] (new)

It isn't my favorite, but it's definitely worth reading. The storyline struck as kind of cliche - fight to the death, society oppressed by ruling class kind of thing - but I couldn't put it down, (which surprised me) and it was good. I didn't know what was going to happen next. :D

message 15: by [deleted user] (new)

Thanks... I'll give it a shot.

Zakiya LadyWings (zladywings) How can you possibly have favorites already?

message 19: by [deleted user] (new)

I'm surprised too. But these four books I couldn't put down. I read them mostly in one day. Since I have some pretty good ones in that means I will now be in a rut. Oh, joy. I better watch what I pick up to read.

Kate (dressagelover) | 225 comments Well, you must read really fast! I can only find time to read if I'm lucky! You'll have to tell me what some of the good ones are. As of late I haven't found a book that I really love in a couple of months. Good luck and happy reading!

I really enjoyed Hush Hush, City of Bones, and I'm currently enjoying Stray.

I will be starting to read Beautiful Creatures and City of Ashes soon.

Kate (dressagelover) | 225 comments I have a dumb question. How do you cross out books that you've read?

message 28: by Jordan (last edited Feb 09, 2010 05:00PM) (new)

Jordan (flyinglogicmonkey) | 181 comments It's not dumb. You have to work with HTML. Which is being annoying. So I have to post in different posts.

So, say you have BOOK. You would write

Does that help? (Sorry for the multiple posts. It kept thinking that I was trying to actually strike the text)

(When writing a comment, if you click on (some html is ok), it will take you to a "cheat sheet" of html. :)
