please correct page numbering for isbn 9780061703256

the mass market paperback for Shutter Island only has 385 pages and the story ends on page 369. The last 16 pages are excerpts from other Lehane books in my copy. Right now the page count is at 400 which is wrong either way. Thanks!

Okay, I'll switch it now. We don't alter the page numbers - we leave it as the book says. So we don't minus pages because of the books excerpts but it is still wrong. Thanks for bringing it to out attention.

Thanks for that info rivka - was this just recently changed? I seem to remember not too long ago being told the same thing when I asked the question to someone else?
I hate finding out something like this after I've been doing something a certain way. :(

No, this has been the policy for a long time. Maybe you're confusing other things, like an index or appendix, which would be included?

I could be confused, God knows that possible. I started wondering after reading that manual part if I wasn't confusing two totally different things.
I'm just glad you supers check these like you do or else Rachel would have had wrong info and I'd have kept the thinking the wrong thing....
