Any suggestions for someone who needs a new author to read? I have many favorite authors and have read all of their books at least once. Are there any other novels/series that are similar to 'in death and NOT a total bore?'

I read Karen Marie Moning. Her Fever series is amazing. Also I like Kathy Reichs, the lady who they base the show Bones after. I actually like the books better because the Temperance Brennan character is much more like a normal human being. I also read a lot of young adult fiction since I am a middle/high school teacher. I like Suzanne Collins The Hunger Games Trilogy. The third book is not out yet but they are amazing...oh and The Percy Jackson Series by Rick Riordan. Both these YA series are really good easy reads but extremely enjoyable. As for more adult stuff again...Laurell K. Hamilton with her Anita Blake series. Oh and Shannon McKenna she has a series that is quite good starts with these brothers and has branched off to the people around them. Kind of a romance/thriller. Lucy Monroe also has a series of books too they are romance but with some intrigue involved, and a lot of badass guys who are sexy.

Here are a couple that I like:Jeffery Deaver series:The Bone Collector
and Robert Crais Series:The Monkey's Raincoat
I added the link for the first book in the series.
I am a big fan of Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum series. I find the books with the numbers in the title are the best and the "between the numbers" books are not so hot. More funny and less gritty than Robb, but Ranger is darn near as sexy as Roarke. I also love Robert Crais and think that his Elvis Cole/Joe Pike novels keep getting better and better.
