Angie I really enjoy this show. The relationship between the brothers is perfect. And I love those coffee cups they use. I have looked all over the internet trying to find those cups and no one seems to know where to get them! ERRR!!! And I love their house.

One of the funniest comedies on you'll find on TV.

Well, that and "My Name Is Earl".

Robyn (roxy_nj) | 2775 comments Whats the deal with their coffee mugs? I never noticed them.

message 4: by Angie (new)

Angie OH MAN! Their coffee mugs are just so damn cool! I tried to look around the internet for them, and all that I found was other people looking for them as well. DAMN COFFEE CUPS!

message 5: by Trudy (new)

Trudy (tblaine9) | 105 comments My mom LOVES this show... I don't generally find comedies funny, so I never tuned in... I have recently caught some in the afternoons and I hate to admit it... she was right... very funny...

message 6: by Sonja (new)

Sonja (crvena_sonja) This show is absolutely awesome! The way that the brothers quip back and forth is absolutely hilarious!

message 7: by Tish (new)

Tish | 5 comments This is one of my favorite comedies. I watch it every Monday night :) I do love the coffee mugs as well.

message 8: by Angie (new)

Angie Have you ever watched an old show and seen how young Alan's son it (forgot his name right now). He is like a baby in those early shows!

message 9: by Tish (new)

Tish | 5 comments Yes--I have. Jake(Alan's son) must have been really young when he started. When the 3 of them are singing ( in the beginning)--it shows Jake when he was little and than what he looks like now. I never had payed attention until last week how much he has grown.

message 10: by Angie (new)

Angie Finally I have found the coffee cups. Here is a link for those interested:
http://www.ttustore.com/Mugs_p_2309.html

my Entertainment Weekly had a blurb on it this week. Seems I'm not the only one who was on the hunt for the mugs!

message 11: by Lori (new)

Lori (barfield) | 730 comments The monday night line up are all good, but this show is the funniest.Especially Rose, would like to see her come back to stay.

Lori (barfield) | 730 comments Kudos to Jon Cyer for best supporting actor. Watched this morning, still funny. :)

message 18: by Lori (new)

Lori (barfield) | 730 comments I never got into 24, so i've seen them all. Didn't realize it had been so many seasons. And it's still very funny. Just LOVE Charlie Sheen. I'm still hoping they will bring back Rose. She was great fun, still miss her.

message 19: by [deleted user] (new)

yeah i like rose as well but jake and charlie are my favorite characters...

message 20: by Lori (new)

Lori (barfield) | 730 comments Yeah, i have to agree. Jake does his lines and never cracks up, or even smiles. I love that kid. And been loving Charlie for a long time back. But i still wish Rose would come back & break up the wedding. I'm just not all that excited about Chelsea. And it's called Two & A Half Men. Not Two & A Half Men Plus A Wife. She needs to go!

message 21: by [deleted user] (new)

you know that jon cryer and charlie sheen appeared in a movie together, i forget what it was called, but it was like a comedy an old one, and they have been friends since then, i will look it up and find the name of that movie

message 22: by Lori (new)

Lori (barfield) | 730 comments Watched the show today, still funny. Their mom got rid of one B, now if the other would go away!

message 23: by [deleted user] (new)

message 24: by Lori (new)

Lori (barfield) | 730 comments Sometimes thats the way i say it. Just B, everyone knows what it stands for. :)

message 25: by [deleted user] (new)

i didnt at first, but then i finally understood

message 26: by [deleted user] (new)

i am watching two and a half men, and she is still there

message 27: by Lori (new)

Lori (barfield) | 730 comments Does anyone believe that Charlie Sheen did any, or all of the shit he's accused of? I do not. I truly believe he didn't do it, and she just wants his money. That fake ass want to be star Denise Richards already took part of his money. That C*#% didn't earn any on her own. I don't believe her either, mainly because you do not go out with your "girlfriends" ex. What she did to Heather Locklear by having an affair with Richie Sambora is unforgivable. Everyone knows you don't do that, weather it's a male, or female friend, "You don't sleep/sex with a friends ex." Since she's capable of that, surely she could be lying about her so called "abuse" by Charlie Sheen! And as public as all of this is why hasn't Brooke Mueller filed for divorce? IMO MONEY!

message 28: by Lori (new)

Lori (barfield) | 730 comments Ok so nobody wants to side with Charlie but me? Come on people at least tell me why you think he did it, or why you think he didn't. I guess it doesn't matter as long as Two and a Half Men stays on the air. By the way Chelsea left Charlie about 4 episodes ago. She's on this weeks show, which I haven't seen yet, but I sure hope she stays gone.

message 29: by Holli (new)

Holli Saw an article about Charlie Sheen wanting out of his contract. He's tired of doing the show......

message 30: by Holli (new)

Holli By LYNN ELBER, AP Television Writer Lynn Elber, Ap Television Writer – Fri Apr 2, 11:18 am ET
LOS ANGELES – Charlie Sheen is looking at a future without "Two and a Half Men."

According to a person close to the actor, Sheen has told friends that he wants to leave the hit CBS comedy in which he's starred for seven years.
The person spoke Thursday on condition of anonymity because Sheen had made the remarks in private and had not intended them to be discussed publicly.
CBS had no comment, spokesman Phil Gonzales said Thursday. An after-hours call to Sheen's representatives was not immediately returned.
"Two and a Half Men," which also stars Jon Cryer, is the top-rated comedy on TV and a key part of CBS' Monday night lineup. Last year, CBS gave the show a three-year renewal, through the 2011-12 season, but Sheen's contract is up at the end of the current season.
Sheen, 44, has tired of the demands of a weekly show and wants to focus on movies, the person close to him said. Sheen is in the upcoming film "Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps," a sequel to the 1987 "Wall Street" in which he starred.
Sheen's desire to exit the sitcom was reported by People magazine online Thursday.

Lori (barfield) | 730 comments Well now I know there's not a Santa. That makes me sad. :( Thanks Holli.

message 32: by Holli (new)

Holli Sorry Lori..... I thought you should know....... I thought of you when I read that.

message 33: by Lori (new)

Lori (barfield) | 730 comments Thanks again Holli, I don't watch those tabloid shows, or read the paper. Hell I rarely watch the news.

message 34: by Holli (new)

Holli Two and a Half Men shuts down completely now due to Charlie Sheen's behavior (this is pretty crazy!)

message 35: by Literary Ames (new)

Literary Ames (amyorames) | 69 comments Jeez, his head is way over-inflated! That was a great show and he's just ruined it. I doubt he'll have many movie offers now. Who wants to hire someone who's an offensive and unreliable addict.

message 36: by Holli (new)

Holli Exactly! His rants don't stop either.... every time I've turned Enews on this weekend it's been stuff about him continuing to make crazy comments to the media.

message 37: by Holli (new)

Holli Anybody catch the snippet of Charlie Sheen's interview on Good Morning America today? Wow! He passed an on air drug test so that's not the problem..... I'm thinking manic-depressive.......

message 38: by Susan (new)

Susan when she suggested bi polar I thought he was really going to go off!! He has some major issues!!

message 39: by Angie (new)

Angie surprises me how many threads I started it's been so long since I visited this group! Thanks again guys for fixing it. Well... not sure how I feel about this stupid raise he wants. I mean he can't really even show up to work so why would he get a raise?

http://www.denverpost.com/ci_17501498

Too bad. This is a great show!

message 40: by Literary Ames (new)

Literary Ames (amyorames) | 69 comments He wants $3m an episode?! "I've got a whole family to support and love." What so he considers the $1.8m not enough to survive on? What the hell are his expenses? He can't drink that much booze, snort that much blow or hump that many hookers! What an arrogant ass. They should threaten a pay cut or just fire his ass and sue him before he does the same to them.

message 41: by Joy H. (new)

Joy H. (joyofglensfalls) | 172 comments I watched the recent TV interviews with Charlie Sheen. I'm not sure it was a good idea for Charlie to be shown in his present condition. To me, it seems as if the networks are taking advantage of him and using his misfortune to their advantage, not to Charlie's advantage. I don't see how it benefits Charlie for him to be seen in public, rambling and talking in non-sequiturs, showing his fragile state to the world.

I heard a professional psychologist today saying that Charlie is exhibiting many of the symptoms of a bi-polar personality. The interviews almost reminded me of a freak show. IMO, it was very unwise to place Charlie in such a vulnerable situation. He's vulnerable enough at this point.

I can only hope for a good ending to this episode of Charlie Sheen's life. I feel sorry for him and I feel sorry for his family. We've grown to love him from watching his funny character on "Two and a Half Men". Now, all of a sudden it's not so funny.

message 42: by Holli (new)

Holli I really do agree with everything you said there Joy. Very eloquently put.

message 43: by Joy H. (new)

Joy H. (joyofglensfalls) | 172 comments Thank you, Holli. It's nice to meet you. Good luck with this TV group. You and Jackie have done a splendid job at reviving it!

message 44: by Holli (new)

Holli Thank you!!

message 46: by Literary Ames (new)

Literary Ames (amyorames) | 69 comments Damn. That's the end of the series then. It would've happened soon enough anyway unless they were going to change the title to "Three Men".

Joy H. (joyofglensfalls) | 172 comments Amy or "Ames" wrote: "Damn. That's the end of the series then. It would've happened soon enough anyway unless they were going to change the title to "Three Men"."

LOL ! "Three men". Good comment, Amy! Angus T. Jones has really grown up. I wonder where we'll see him next. It should be interesting. I hope he hasn't been typed into only one kind of character.

message 48: by Angie (new)

Angie I read in Entertainment Weekly that they are trying to find someone to finish the series out and that the crew got paid for 4 of the last 8 episodes. He just hurt a lot of people's jobs.

message 49: by Joy H. (last edited Mar 08, 2011 09:00PM) (new)

Joy H. (joyofglensfalls) | 172 comments Yes, Angie, imagine all those people out of work because of one man's troubles. I hope they find someone to take Sheen's place so that the series can continue, if only for the sake of the crew and the actors. Other shows have successfully replaced main characters in the past. I hope it's possible here. Besides it would be interesting to watch the change take place. I'm sure there would be a big audience, especially at first. Everyone would be very curious.

message 50: by Holli (new)

Holli John Stamos or Rob Lowe would both be great as his replacement I think....
