Glad so many people are interested in reading or re-reading Cold Fire :-) Nice to hear from you Denise!

Very cool! I had an English teacher who had a few DK books on her shelves in class and happened to pick one up ... the rest is history! Lol. ;)

Thanks :)

Just finished "by the light of the moon" "intensity" "mr. murder" "innocence"(which is awesome) and just started "the bad place". I've read about 20 or so Koontz books in the last few months. I'm kinda hooked ...

About 7 years ago someone gave me Odd Thomas and I was instantly addicted. I'm flying through every book he's written. I'm trying to slow down, and throw in a few other authors here and there, because I know they'll come to an end soon. I've since re-read Lightening and appreciated it much more.

I do the same thing.....I am reading more than one book at a time.....all the time
I need to upload my whole library onto Goodreads!!! Would take time though

Prior to April my only exposure to Koontz was the excellent book "Island" which he co-authored with the late Richard Laymon. Then in April, I decided to give Intensity a spin.
Intensity is easily one of the most frightening novels I have ever read. Utterly brilliant. It changed my perspective of how much terror a writer can conjure and made me a Koontz fan for life.
Intensity pushed me to set my expectations for my own writing much higher.
Just finished TickTock, which I found hilarious at times and a good ride in its own right.
Hope to have fun getting to know everyone.

Hi Dan, I have't read either of those yet but they are on my list. Tick Tock is a very popular one it seems. It's a great group. Welcome

Cool, Dan. You should totally check out 'Velocity.' I highly recommend it. Incidentally, 'Intensity' was my first Koontz novel. Velocity won't let you down.

I have to stop reading these posts. For every Koontz book I've read their are constantly new ones that I Cann't wait to read. Welcome to our group.

I have been a fan of Dean's for a fairly long time. I discovered him right around the time Phantoms came out.

We are all DK fans....some long time like you and some newer readers.....I get a kick out of then discovering his books.....I have read everything he has ever written and own most of his books.....been reading him since my teens!!!

Hi Shawn! Thanks for the friend request. :) I read Cold Fire recently and loved it. My sister recommended it to me and said I had to read it! She was right. :) Excellent book. I love pretty much all of his books, but I love some more than others.
