We have a 2 year old Shiba Inu named Robin Hood, due to her very foxy appearance. She's very cat-like but cuddly and adorable!

I have a wackadoodle (dachshund/min. poodle mix) named Fergus.

i think tess is a perfect name for a border collie. i was actually thinking about getting one and naming her tess before i got my golden.

I have three miniature dachshunds. Pippin is my oldest. He was adopted from the local animal shelter. Viola is a year younger than Pippin and I got her from a breeder to help with Pippin's separation anxiety. And Willoughby, the baby, is 4 months old and I got him from my parents who wanted a dog, but found a puppy was too much for them.
I have a almost 2 year old Golden named Zeus. He is the love of my life! Big ole sucky baby! But will do everything to protect me. Sometimes not always a good thing!
Hi all, new to the group! My dogs name is Whiskey and he's a woolly coated husky. Black and tan markings and brown eyes. We love him dearly :) He'll be two in April.
When i was kid, i have dog, his name is Micky i love him so much because Micky is my first dog.The second one Goofy and the last one is Bolster.
All of them are cute, smart and also can make me happy from my busy day :)

They are both my buddies, but AJ is my little shadow!

I love all dogs but I have a soft spot for Rottweilers. Many, many years ago my husband and I rescued a lovely Rotti girl from the local shelter. We adored her. They are great dogs!
Hi, all. Our canine compadre is a Lakeland-Border cross called Brandy. She's a rescue dog who was found roaming the streets. The rescue centre had called her Fern, but we didn't really fancy shouting that in the fields.She's an absolute love - old, set in her ways, has a entertainingly mean streak and is a stubborn old mare. A perfect terrier, then!

We live with three chinese cresteds; Jack (puff), Jill and Hairy Molly (hairless). Well, Jill is 1/2 shihtzu but brought the h/l gene. They'll start being 5yo from Oct.They suit our lifestyle, a typical conversation goes like this...

Yes, a friend told me when my little Pomeranian was running fever to put her paws on cold water which helped her so much. At point point she had so much fever that she walked to the bathtub to be put in the cold water.

I'm enjoying reading about everyone's dogs. I have a cat and just found a parakeet, but it's my dogs that keep me laughing and smiling. Bella and Dash are seven and four year-old Italian Greyhounds. Sometimes, I think they're laughing and smiling too. ;)
I have Jack, a 7 y/o.choc lab/hound mix, and Millie, a terrier/Godknowswhat who's 1 1/2. Very funny looking bunch :)

Thanks Gayle. I just lost my Sheltie Jasper on 1 August due to kidney failure partly caused by Ramidryl I learned belatedly. A vet online helped me on a Sunday with good tips. She said that Pepcid AC would offer him some relief. I had no idea but it did. It was $28.00 to get her advice online and I do recommend it. It was AskaVet.
How I am just down to little Georgia. We just went leaf peeping with her. She is a Teddy Bear Pom we got at the Shelter.

That's very interesting about the on-line vet. I'm going to remember that. Pretty scary about Ramidryl.
Thanks Gayle. She was so helpful for me when he was suffering. I am still bothered that his regular vet did NOT warn me about this problem with Ramidryl.

my dogs name is Dallas and he is a boxer mutt... and Sodapop is a dog we found on the street, we took him in and cared for him and now he is ours. we think he is a terrier mix or something. both their names are off of the outsiders =)
Cute idea. I thought I recognized Sodapop right away. I named Jasper from Rebecca by Daphne Du Maurier.

A german shepherd (mix? possibly, holding no certificate) named Dost - meaning buddy in Turkish -
I have 3 year old 3/4 Border 1/4 Jack Russell cross named Torey.She is fantastically loyal, as I type while off work ill she is laid in the bend of my legs on the settee.
one Yellow Lab. aged 4 1/2, named Kopuk (means kind of Crazy) and one Cavalier aged 1 1/2,named Düşes (means Duchess). Both of them are female and very smart dogs. They are our sweet ladies :)

Beagles are the best!!! Don't worry they calm down when they get older. My beagle is two years and has finally started to get lazy:)
:))) love him with all his energy :) but now it's really hard to believe that any dog toy can survive for longer than one evening and that any animal smaller than horse can run faster :))) so... just 2 years till and I can start the apartment total makeover? :)))
Well after One year you should be able to start the appartment makeover but I have to say I do sorta miss those exciting puppy years so enjoy them:)
now I really do believe that beagles will stay puppies forever :)))

Lots of beagles in this group. So let me add one more! Seamus (the Famous!) is my 9 year old beagle. He's a cancer survivor (as am I) and the star of my memoir "The Dog Lived (and So Will I)" published by Sourcebooks this Fall. And even at 9 years old, he hasn't slowed down a bit!
I have an English Springer Spaniel named Tucker. Hes 6 yrs old.
I have a 9 year old lab/ pit mix. She's loving and still acts like a puppy. Wonderful with my two daughters, and she's excited anytime someone comes over. It's sad to see that her hair is turning gray on her face and that her eyes are becoming cloudy.

I love love love love dogs!!!! I could talk about them all day long. I love talking about mine like crazy. I have an Australian Cattle Dog named Harley, she's about 7. She use to like to run around and her old owners found out that she was in the pound and went up there to look at her and just left her there. So I took her in, she ran away once, she was gone about a week but she came back. Hasn't went very far since. My Grandmother blames me for her being lazy and fat. I don't like to go outside and Harley learned to not like it ether unless I go with her lol. So she prefers just laying around doing nothing.....like me =D She chunky not fat. I feed her like half of everything I eat so how can she not be chunky. Everyone knows that I would starve before letting her to starve.
I have a terrier mix with a great attitude. She has been in charge of me for 12 of her almost 14 years.Velvet lived across the street from me as a puppy and her owners did not want to take care of her when they moved. They eventually allowed me to keep her. She is deaf now, but still loves to take walks, do her tricks and visit her friends in the neighborhood. She likes for me to knock on doors for her then hide and let her go in and get a treat when her people friends answer.
I have 2 dogs. A very bossy Bichon Frise called Muddles & a cheeky Border collie called Jasper.
2 dogs, both shepherd mixes, sharpei-shep and husky-shep. Until recently had 2 black labs, mix and a pure-blood. Also, 2 cats, tabby macs, who keep the dogs entertained.
