Harry (harryfair3) | 1 comments I noticed that the series information for Ace Double book entries has been entered in several different ways, for example:

(Classic Ace Double, D-#)
(Vintage Ace Double, F-#)
(Ace Double, X-#)

Collectors of Ace Doubles often keep track of them by the publisher series letter/number designation (or only a number for the late series). A list of the series is at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_...

Does anyone have a suggested standard that should be applied in this case? My own thoughts were to consistently use the following:

(Ace Double, letter-number) for D,F,M,G & H series
(Ace Double, number) for number series

Paula (paulaan) | 7014 comments I think your suggestion is a good one and matches the series format we use on GR of

Book Name (Series, Book#)

I cannot see why adding the series letter would be an issue.
