Have the Twilightfans seen this.........?So many love MI here :-), I´m reading City of Fallen Angels now, I realy like it and I love the story..........but sorry Twilight is better :-)
Of course Mortal instruments. I feel that its such an insult to compare MI with Twilight

The characters in The Mortal Instruments are less charicatures than in Twilight. Twilight has no depth. The action scenes in TMI are more interesting, the stories are richer and have more of an intriguing backstory. However, the whole Jace/Clary relationship is a bit too sick for me.

I have to go with Twilight it is my all time favourite series! I do abs love MI but it does not compare to Twilight. Edward is my favourite fictional character! Always :D Altho i do love Jace :)
The Mortal Instruments!! ! There is just so much action and suspense in this series. The main characters are described really well, enough to make us think we know them, and Clary isn't just a lifeless and emotionless shell of a person like Bella is, she actually has depth.

The Mortal Instruments is too good to even be compared to Twilight!
Deinitely Mortal Instruments! There were lots of plot twists and humor. Way better. I can re-read them over and over again and STILL enjoy it every time.Not to mention Cassandra Clare never had any big plot mistakes like Stephanie Meyer did. I was really confused in New Moon when Jasper wanted to feed on Bella after a paper cut. A PAPER CUT! Seriously? He was able to control himself in the ballet studio in Twilight where she was gushing blood all over the place. It just didn't make sense. And don't even get me started on the movies... :P

Im ahuge Twilight fan, loves Stephenie Meyer's books, but I LOVE LOVE LOVE The Mortal Instruments! Stephenie Meyer has love, love triangles, werewolves and vampires, and so does Cassandra Clare. But C.C. has that and WAY MORE ACTION, MYSTERY, & OMG creativity! I VOTE FOR THE MORTAL INSTRUMENTS!

Omg you have to keep reading , it gets soooo much better if you didnt think it was amazing up to that point but trust me it is worth it to continue on =D if you continue you will realize what you missed out on when you stopped the first time SERIOUSLY I PROMISE!!!!
