LynnB I've also sort of started :) Pnin by Vladimir Nabokov by Vladimir Nabokov and a very long non-fiction, Jerusalem The Biography by Simon Sebag Montefiore by Simon Sebag Montefiore. Reading Tana French's new book has made me put these aside for a day or so, but I'll get back to them....

I'm really liking it so far, my favorite Tana French is The Likeness. Hope you enjoy!

Wow, do I feel old! This is considered a "classic" and it was first published in 1980! I won't hold that against it though. Looks good.

California by Edan Lepucki on audio. I got this through a free offer from Ford on Goodreads. Anyone else get this one too?

The Last Policeman (The Last Policeman, #1) by Ben H. Winters which is for my book group. It's set in the city wher i work in New Hampshire, so all the local references are fun.

Victoria (vicki_c) Betsy, I read that recently and enjoyed it a lot. It was like a surprise to me because I didn't have very high expectations. I had added it to my to-read list at some point and then saw it was available through the library, so grabbed it.

I love Elizabeth Warren and have this on my TBR list. I'll be interested to hear what you think. I've also got Kristen Gillibrand's (I don't think I'm spelling that right) book on my list.

Teresa I am currently reading The Queen of the Tearling (The Queen of the Tearling, #1) by Erika Johansen . It is a YA fantasy that is slated as a future movie triology staring Emma Watson (Hermoine Granger of the HP series.) This is the author's debut novel. I read a lot of YA with my daughter who is a middle grade English/Reading teacher.

I am also reading The Royal Physician's Visit by Per Olov Enquist , which is disturbing, yet gripping.

Extinction is the book for my May book group. Hope it's good.

Teresa I'm currently reading A Sudden Light by Garth Stein , Afterworlds by Scott Westerfeld , and Revolution by Deborah Wiles . I saw Deborah Wiles speak yesterday @ Politics & Prose and was very impressed. She has been nominated for the National Book Award for YA this year.

This is the first I've heard of this title. It looks good so I added it to my TBR list, but will be interested in hearing your review of it.

LynnB I've started Lost Horizon by James Hilton for my f2f book club.

I'm still working at Jerusalem The Biography by Simon Sebag Montefiore which is very long and non-fiction. I hope to be done with it soon! I think I've been reading it off-and-on for 2 months now.

I'm "reading" on audio. Love her writing. Maybe we should have this as one of our group reads. I know I'm going to want to talk about it with someone.
