What do you think now that you are done reading? Love it? Hate it? What was your favorite parts?

First off I keep wanting to mention this but didn't know where it would fit. I loved the description of the tower that was painted with stars on the ceiling! I can just imagine what that would look like!

Storm (stormgerlock) I understand what you mean, I was more fascinated by Tatiana and Sorrow's story.

I think maybe I enjoyed the book was because it wasn't like what I had been reading lately and maybe I needed a change?

Amy | 2 comments Loved this book! I must admit, I was not looking forward to reading it - it seemed like it would be too girly, especially based on the cover art and the description about the dancing princesses fairytale. But it was a wonderful surprise. I loved the relationship between Gogu and Jena - it was so sweet. Tatiana and Sorrow's story was more secondary for me. I absolutely hated Cezar. I also appreciated the life lessons sprinkled throughout the story - especially learning to trust yourself and your instincts. I will definitely be recommending this book to others.
A great pick!!

Has anyone been to the author's website? She has photos of Transylvania when she went to visit in 2005. She even labels photos of different areas in the book:

Storm (stormgerlock) Oh! That's really cool!

Angelena (drimagirl12) I absolutely loved this book! It had me hooked from the beginning. I knew something was up with Gogu from the start but that was kind of obvious anyway. The story itself was awesome. I didn't really have much feeling for Tati and Sorrow as much as I did for Jena and Costi/Gogu. Surprisingly I didn't hate Cezar. Of course I didn't like him either but he was a really well-developed character so I liked him in that respect. All in all, awesome!

Julia | 432 comments I quite enjoyed this book! I liked the mashup of the 3+ fairy tales. I liked the unusual setting of Transylvania. Dracula starts there, but it's unusual, in my experience, for a novel that is not exlusively about vampires to be set there. Dracula
Well, Night by Weisel, begins there, but it's memoir. Any other books set in Transylvania -- that aren't about vampires -- anyone can think of?
Jena's the POV character, so she's the character I felt closest to. I always like it characters who are rational and must deal with a world that is anything but. Her relaionship with Gogu/ Costi is very sweet. Night

Humm... I cannot think of any other books that are in Transylvania that are not about vampires. It is amazing how throughout time Transylvania is always know for its vampires. I would love to visit there.

Storm (stormgerlock) I really liked this book and was very glad that I read it but it did take me awhile to get into it. Loved it though.
