I think maybe it wll help if you don't worry about how many you are reading/or have read and you will find it easier to read without the pressure.
Some months will be slow and others faster
But the most important part is to have fun!!!!

I just finished my 3rd book G is For Gumshoe
Did you like A is fir Alibi?

Jackie, I hope that you feel better very soon!
"
I hope you feel better soon too Jackie.

its all about balance so well done with the first and the others will follow
all will have good months and bad.
Its a challenge but meant to be fun!!

Re-reads count, if you read from cover to cover. :)

Afsana, I LOVED A is for Alibi, and I can't wait to continue with the series. I'm going to read them all in order. Have you read A through G, or is this the first one you have read in the series? How'd you like it?

I have read all of them apart from e
a couple out of order.
To be honest they are not really my type of book but I bought a few of them on the cheap and so feel I have to read them before giving them away

I'm thinking of doing the latter...but I'm not sure if that means my thread will ALWAYS be at the bottom since the thread technically won't be timestamped as "updated" often.

I'm also just editing my January list as I finish a book, but am also writing a comment/review of the book in a new post. When I start a new month, I'll probably delete those comments to make room for the next month.

I actually sort mine so new comments are on top so I don't have to scroll through all the pages. You do that by clicking on date on the top right side of postings. It makes catching up with the posts much faster.

Glad I'm not the only one then! I prefer the editing option - much cleaner & more organized. And I do love my organization.
What will you put in the Year in Review post, Kelly?

I'm not sure yet what I'll put in my Year in Review post, other than the total number of books I completed. Maybe I'll add some other stats to it, like how many of what I read were library books and how many were my own, as I am keeping track of that on my livejournal blog. Also maybe just a little something about how my reading habits changed throughout the year, that kind of thing.

Oooo, I might copy that idea too! I'm rather partial to statistics. You could track how many pages total read, different genres....I like this idea :)

It will look like the following
Book No:
Title
Date Started
Date Ended
Pages
Review

its individual choice
sme just listing others a boit more
so you do what you feel you want to or is right

Rachel, I'm editing as well.

Darcy,
I just finished listening to The Physick Book of Deliverance Dane as well. I loved it. It's obvious the author did a lot of research and I liked the blending of fact and fiction. That brings me up to 4 books. I'm on 5, 6, and 7. The audio I'm listening to now is Firestorm by Iris Johansen. I'm not quite sure whether I'll finish it; not sure about the reader, but then it's too early to tell.

Kelly,
I feel the same way sometimes. I sometimes wonder if I should be stopping some books that are taking a while.
The Gargoyle is going a lot slower than I had hoped, but it's my pen pal read and I need to finish it. It is an interesting book and the writer is very good. I just wish we could get to the really good part I feel is still coming. I can alternate with the Harlan Coben and that audio books, but I feel some pressure to finish this one.
