Freaks and Geeks is hilarious, I've only seen a couple episodes but they were really good, too bad it was only on for a season.
hey all! i'm a public history major, who seems not to take this whole reading portion for a masters seriously. instead, i read lots and lots of manga. yay! i'm 24, don't drink, swear, or do drugs. graduated high school in 04, and so forth. oh, i work at a grocery store (for like 6 years!). anyway, i guess that's me.
oh, total side note. i added some books, and dumbly created a couple of folders without thinking about how you would like it set up. i put it by book, which was dumb since it seems to not be organized that way in the forum. it would probably be best to do it by genre, but then how should we do it? you could do it like shojo and so forth. but i think it's a little too broadly defined. magic knight rayearth and w juilet are both considered shojo, even though one is adventure and the other is romance. we could do it like romance, sci-fi, hist fict, fantasy, adventure, classics, etc. but it does become a tad hard when series equally branch more than one genre. folders are fun b/c when you have tons of discussions, it organizes things for you. but these are just my thoughts and so forth...

I feel like this is a silly question, but what is "public" history? I also, don't drink or do drugs, but I'm afraid that I swear like a sailor

So, do you like to be organized? The folders, genres, books, etc...I try to be organized but really everything just ends up higgeldy-piggeldy!
i knew i should have explained public history! lol. well, public history is pretty much anywhere history meets the public. it covers things like cultural research managament, pratically anything to do with museums, archives, etc. yeah, you can do things like be a curator or an archivist.
yeah, i've worked there for like forever. but at least i've worked like 5 departments. so i feel like i've had other jobs
no, i'm not very organized. i'm a rather messy person. but i try to be neat. it most certainly makes things easier to find. i have to really work hard at organizing. but that's okay, it helps with things like writing, you know, so people can understand me. lol. anyway- i've found that it's easier to start off with some sort of organization than trying to implament it later on. half way why i suggested the folders. the other half is that i'm really used to it from like adding to "my books" and so forth. i seem to have a ton of shelves added on my profile. lol
