What does it mean when it says 'deleted member' as someone's name?

It means that it was posted by someone who was removed against his/her will. Or possibly has deleted their goodreads account. Or both.

Umm I can only think of one time I removed someone from the group, but I think it was only for a day or two. And it was when the group had like, just started. Oh, and I think we used to delete inactive members, but then we discovered that they couldn't join again if we did that, so ... we stopped doing that. XD
