One of the reasons I love Alaska is the incredible animal health services. I truly believe Alaskans take better care of pets then themselves, I know it is true in my house. I have a vary large dog, who likes to jump... BAD! We have a ramp so she doesn't have to jump into the car :p

Dinah would never have to wait hours to receive care here.

I am so happy for you that your dog came out of surgery okay. It is always traumatizing when a pet is at the vet having a procedure done.

I'll be keeping my fingers crossed that he gets to come home tonight for mommy to take care of him. :)

Oh, man, Donna. What a day for you and your little man. This is so sad and I am glad that I am catching up here at the end with a happy (kinda) ending. I don't know how I would stand it if anything happened to my pet. You have been very entertaining here all day, even if it was to keep your mind off all the awfulness.
