SARA NICOLE'S TASK - A GAME OF CLUE

This probably won't help, but you could read
for yellow or
for red (if you have those covers)....
That's actually a brilliant idea, thank you, I never thought of that. :)Though I have The Stone Diaries with this cover (is that red enough?) and I'll have to check what editions of Pale Fire my library has.
Hi, I found a couple more colorful books:For Yellow:
The Patron Saint of Used Cars and Second Chances A Memoir by Mark Millhone
and, Kelly McCullough's series:

blue - red - yellow - green
Webmage,Cybermancy,Codespell,MythOS
Can I get a ruling on this one for blue? I love this cover and this author, so it'd be sweet if I could use it for the task:
My roommate just lent me this book- just want to check that it is red enough before I use it for this task:

What about this one?
"Yes to both

Would
work for blue? Also I want to read 13 Bullets for the weapon task - do bullets count? Technically you need a gun as well to make it a weapon... :)
Sara, Would you except Duplicity Dogged The Dauchshund: The Second Dixie Hemingway Mystery for red? I know here on goodreads it shows a lot of red and yellow but my copy is mostly all red.I just tried the link to make sure it would come up with the right book. The book cover is blue but there is a red one if you look at the alternate versions.
Thanks
Sorry everyone! I'm out of town and haven't really been checking my e-mail...Angela wrote: "

If so, that would be fine.

That book would be fine for blue, and bullets would be fine!
Thank you Sara, yes that is more like my cover, only thing is mine is more red. Anyways I'll go with that. Thanks again. :~)

Will this work for read?
I know Fire counts as a weapon but I already have a book with a weapon that I was hoping to use!

ABSOLUTELY. I'd let you read that book for this task if its cover was all multi-colored polka-dots! ;) (Okay, maybe not... Can't upset the masses and all that...) But I loved it! ENJOY!!

I have to admit that this is the second time I am reading it in as many months... I LOVE IT. I was on the airplane and just happened to have the first one (yeah, like that really happened) and started reading it again! I LOVE IT!!!
Could I use The Brimstone Wedding by Barbara Vine for part B of this task? (i.e. Brimstone as a weapon). The reference here is to "Fire and Brimstone", which are certainly agents of torment. But it might be too much of a stretch!
Ashley wrote: "Alternately (to Brimstone), would you accept a hoe as a weapon?
"I'm going to say no to "hoe" as it is predominantly a tool, and I've never heard of anyone being killed with one. (Not to say it's never happened...)
Sarah wrote: "So I am assuming that you are taking fire as a weapon?"
Yep!

Sorry... I totally skipped over this post before! Brimstone is a hard one... I think I'm going to say no, since with torment (esp. the hell kind), the idea is that the person DOESN'T die...
Liz wrote: "is this okay for red ? :)
"Yes, and if you wouldn't mind letting me know how that book is... It's been on my TBR for a long time...
Sara ♥ wrote: "Sarah wrote: " http://www.denverpost.com/nationworld... "Figures. Weirdos...
Just saw this as I came back to the thread for more ideas -- so does this mean I can use hoe? It seems along the lines of scissors and stones. But I can't tell if your response is "sure, ok, go ahead" or "funny story but still not convinced"
ETA: it is so odd that I am having problems with this one because I love mysteries and have a huge pile of them waiting for me to finish this challenge -- and NONE of them have a weapon in the title. Lots of "death" "grave" etc. But no weapons, lol!
Thanks :)
If you can't find anything else, then go ahead. ALSO... don't forget (everyone) that one of the books needs to be from the library.
Sara, I'll let you know my thoughts on Smashed, Squashed, Splattered, Chewed, Chunked and Spewedwhen i'm finished. I'm about half way done now :)

It's borderline... I think I said no to a similar book earlier, as the words are so big on the cover...
I found this: A Knife to Remember by Jane Churchill. It breaks my "no starting in the middle of a series" rule, but it looks really fun!
