Susannah watched them walk away.

[Nymronyn]

"I don't want you to be around him if I'm not around," Jacob said. "I already thought he was wierd before but I didn't think he was dangerous. But now he's a vampire and I'm not sure but I think he's probably dangerous now."

[Cielo]

Susannah nodded. "I don't know why, but something tells me he's certainly dangerous now."

[Nymronyn]

"Anyway you wanna dance?" Jacob asked.

[Cielo]

"Sure." Susannah said.

[Nymronyn]

Jacob lead them out to the dance floor and wrapped his arms around her waist.

[Cielo]

Susannah wrapped her arms around his neck.

[Nymronyn]

"Just a quick warning I'm not very good," Jacob said before he started swaying in time to the music.

[Cielo]

Susannah followed his movements saying, "Sounds good to me. It'd suck to be dancing with a professional."

[Nymronyn]

Jacob chuckled and kissed her head.
Alek waited until the dance floor started to get alittle more crowded before navigating his and Rebecca's way toward them while dancing.

[Cielo]

Susannah smiled, actually starting to enjoy herself a bit.

[Nymronyn]

Once the dancefloor was pretty crowded and during the last few moments of the song Alek let his hand brush across her back and cast the spell.

[Cielo]

Susannah started looking around, wanting to find and be near Alek.

((The same spell he cast on Rebecca?))

[Nymronyn]

"So care to dance?" Alek asked her once she'd looked around.

[Cielo]

"Of course." Susannah said, letting go of Jacob as if he weren't there, and walking towards him.

[Nymronyn]

Alek let go of Rebecca and dropped the spell on her.
The moment she was free Rebecca knew she had to find Zach.

[Cielo]

Zach had lead Jaqcleen to the dance floor, and was dancing with her.

[Nymronyn]

"May I cut in?" Rebecca asked walking up to them.
Jacqleen just rolled her eyes.

[Cielo]

"I don't have time to deal with you, Rebecca." Zach said, barely glancing at her. "Whatever you want, I'm sure it can wait. And if it involves Alek, I'm not doing it at all. Not again."

[Nymronyn]

"I need to talk to you and no it can't wait," Rebecca said. She cast her control spell and made Jacqleen turn and walk away. "Look at that it appears you are now free for me to talk to," she said taking her place.

[Cielo]

Zach glared. "Fine." he said, and turned and walked off the dance floor.

[Nymronyn]

Rebecca followed and caught his arm. "I'm sorry," she said. "I'm sorry about yesterday. I am so very sorry."

[Cielo]

Zach pulled his arm away from her. "Well, you're going to have to be a bit more detailed, because as far as I'm concerned, there are many things you could be sorry about." he said, trying, and not succeeding in hiding the pain her words brought back. Pain Jaqcleen was just starting to lessen.

[Nymronyn]

"I'm sorry for what Rebecka did, I'm sorry for what I said, I'm sorry that once I saw how much what I'd said hurt you I mocked you for it, and I'm sorry I madeyou bite somebody even though I know how you feel about it," Rebecca said all I a rush. "But I swear those weren't my decisions."

[Cielo]

"So you were just joking when you said it was stupid for me to ever fall in love with someone who would control me?" Zach asked, part bitterly, part sarcastically.

[Nymronyn]

"No what I'm saying is that Alek can cast the same kind of spell I can," Rebecca said. "The kind that I did on you repeatedly."

[Cielo]

"Repeatedly is the word I'm stuck on." Zach said. "As in again, and again, and again. As in, I don't really know if I can trust you."

[Nymronyn]

"I know what it feels like now," Rebecca said. "Like they're inside your head filtering your every thought making sure that there's nothing you do that they dong want. Like there is no original thought everything you think is perdetermined by someone else."

[Cielo]

"Good. Then you can understand why I'm finding it hard to forgive you right now." Zach said.

[Nymronyn]

"Please Zach," Rebecca said. "I'm affriad of him. There was a limitation on his power but by becoming a vampire those limitations are lessened."

[Cielo]

"So you're afraid of him." Zach stated. "Tell me: why shouldn't I be afraid of you?"

[Nymronyn]

"Because I know now what it is I put you though when I do that and I couldn't do that again knowing what it's like," Rebecca said. "Zach even Rebecka is shaken up and worried."

[Cielo]

"Well, sounds like that's a personal problem for her." Zach said stubbornly.

[Nymronyn]

"Please," she begged. "I am sorry for breaking up with you yesterday but not a single word that I said came from me. It was him he made me do it."

[Cielo]

"But it has some truth to it, doesn't it?" Zach said. "It's all I've been thinking about lately, and I realized; maybe dating someone who once used to control me wasn't the smartest, or healthiest choice."

[Nymronyn]

Rebecca stared at him blankly, she either didn't understand what he was saying or refused to accept it.

[Cielo]

Zach started back at her. He knew how it felt to have to wear that look, but he also knew he wasn't ready to be put into a position that could hurt him as much as he'd been hurt again.

[Nymronyn]

Alek had been listening to Zach and Rebecca and started making his way over to them.
Rebecca felt his power approaching and her blank stare turned to terror as she felt him come nearer. In a flash she ran around and cowered behind Zach. She put up a barrier around them that prevented people with magic to cross through. But Alek just laid his hand on it, his hand began to glow and the barrier disintegrated under his hand. Rebecca gasped, "I've never met someone who knew that counter spell, let alone who could pull it off."

[Cielo]

Zach's eyes narrowed as he saw Alek.

Susannah had been following Alek like a puppy dog.

[Nymronyn]

Alek stopped and wrapped his arm around Susannah's waist. "Rebecca you wouldn't by any chance be cheating on me would you?" He pretended to ask raising an eyebrow.
"It isn't cheating if your not with the person to begin with," Rebecca said quietly, she was practically shaking when Alek took a step closer.
"Of course we're together," Alek said reaching around behind Zach to touch Rebecca's arm.

[Cielo]

Zach stepped between him and Rebecca, moving until there were just inches between them. "If you were smart, you'd walk away." he growled threateningly.

[Nymronyn]

"I am very smart," Alek said. "And I'm warning you that your the one who should back off."

[Cielo]

Zach glared, but he didn't want to start anything in the middle of the dance, not to mention that chaperon's were giving them the evil eye. So, he just sidestepped, and walked away.

[Nymronyn]

Alek smiled at Rebecca and she whimpered. He touched her shoulder and then she was fine. But then Alek frowned and her face fell. "Why were you telling Zach things you shouldn't have?"
"I'm sorry," Rebecca said. "I don't know what I was thinking."
Rebecka had been protected from Alek's spell by the magic barriers that Rebecca had made to keep her locked up. But she was able to put a connection into Zach's head. You seriously just walked away from her? she asked irritated in his head. The girl was terrified of him and you left her there with him.

[Cielo]

What do you expect me to do in a room full of people? Zach thought. I can't compete with Alek with others. Even a small argument would quickly draw attention

[Nymronyn]

I don't care, Rebecka said. Help her or I destroy you.

[Cielo]

Because you wouldn't if you had a chance, anyway? Zach thought.

[Nymronyn]

Do it now!! Rebecka's voice bellowed in his head.

[Cielo]

Don't yell at me! Zach mentally yelled back.

[Nymronyn]

Then help her Rebecka snarled.
