"Yes, I'm fine." Susannah said. "I didn't even see her. How's Seth?"

"He'll be alright," Jacob said. "A bruise on his neck for a few minutes maybe but that's it."
"Good. So when do you think I can go back home?" Susannah asked.
"Well since I'm here I guess now," Jacob said.
"And do you think it's safe to use the door this time?" Susannah asked as she started walking back.Adrian left a note on Mrs. Summers body, and left to try to figure out how to get to Susannah directly.
"Good. Because i almost slipped on that stupid tree." Susannah said just as her house came back into sight.

{{kk}}Jacob saw the open door and froze, wrapping an arm protectively around Susannah.
"What is it. . ." Susannah started, and then trailed off as she also saw the open door.
"Now I know you're mom is a bit eccentric at moments but I don't picture her as the type to just leave the door wide open."
"She doesn't. One of her eccentrialities is that she believes its bad luck." Susannah said.
"Then Adrian is or has been here," Jacob said.
"You're the one with the heightened sense of smell." Susannah said. "Pick up on anything suspicious?"
Jacob took one sniff then started backing up, taking Susannah with him.
"I smell something dead," Jacob said not letting Susannah go or slowing down in his attempt to move away from the house.
As soon as she heard the word dead, Susannah broke from his grip and started running towards the house.
Jacob was there a half a second later and froze as well.
She just stared wide-eyed, not blinking or moving. Barely breathing.
Jacob slowly pulled Susannah to him, turning her away from the body and wrapping his arms around her securly.
She started sobbing, clinging to him tightly.
Jacob just held her and let her cry, not able to think of anything to say.
Suddenly Susannah pulled away from him and started walking away, the bottom of her hair flaming up with her anger.
"Where are you going?" Jacob asked.
"To find Adrian." Susannah answered without pause.
Jacob ran around in front of Susannah, blocking her path. "No you're not," he said.
"Oh, yes I am." she said, stepping around him.
"No you aren't," Jacob said, taking her shoulder.
Susannah paused, and looked at him. "Jacob. Let go." she said.
"No," Jacob said. "You'll get yourself killed."
"Fine." Susannah shook his hand off, and kept going.
"I'm not letting you go," Jacob said with finality.
"And I'm not letting you stop me." Susannah said.
"You said that you didn't want me going after Rebecca because you were afraid of how powerful she was," Jacob said. "Well this is the same thing."
"But you went, didn't you? You didn't kill her, but you went." Susannah said.
"She's going to kill you," Jacob said. "There's no chance she won't. She can turn into you and use your powers against you. Or she could turn into me as a wolf or Rebecca. You are not going and getting yourself killed."
"One: My powers can't work against me since fire doesn't hurt me. And she won't get a chance to turn into you or Rebecca." Susannah said.
"If she's waiting for you as one of us?" Jacob challenged. "For all you know I could be her right now."
"Why can't you just believe that I can do this? Somehow I'm supposed believe that every time you go out to try to protect me from whatever's trying to kill me that day that it might not be the last time I see you. Why can't you give me the same benefit of the doubt? I'm not completely useless!" Susannah said.
"Because you're in experienced," Jacob said.
"And who's fault is that?" Susannah said. "How am I supposed to gain experience if you never let me do anything!"
"Because I don't want you to get hurt," Jacob said.
"Just forget it." Susannah said, getting out of his grip. "Just let Adrian go kill other people's mothers! I mean, what's it matter so long as I don't get to help, right?" she said as she went back to the house angrily to call the police.
Once she was inside Jacob picked up on Adrians trail and started hunting.
Once Susannah sorted everything out with the police, she just sat in her room.
