"Research on what?" Jacob asked.

"A couple of training techniques. It's not hard to help her, I just need to make sure I have a plan. Otherwise, teaching an untrained firestarter can be dangerous." Christian said.
"How do you find stuff like that," Jake asked. "I doubt it's just out there on the Internet."
"You're right, it's not. How do you think I learned all this stuff? My dad had reference books. And then there's a small library somewhere in Antartica with more information. But I'll use my dad's reference books." Christian said.
"And...no offense or anything, Jacob, but you shouldn't come." Christian said.
"And why is that?" Jacob asked raising an eyebrow.
"Because, what I'm teaching her, I'm not supposed to tell just anybody. She wants to tell you, well, I can't stop her. But I am not going to be held personally responsible for giving well guarded secrets to someone who doesn't really have to know them." Christian said.
"Well I have to know," Jacob said. "I have to know all that I can about this because I have to know what to do to keep Susannah safe."
Christian shook his head. "Then ask her afterwards. I'm not getting in trouble because of you." he said.
Jacobs eyes narrowed. Then he gave in, "Fine. But I will be asking."
Christian shrugged. "What you do in your free time has nothing to do with me."
"I'll meet you back at my place ok?" Jacob said to Susannah.
Jacob gave her a quick kiss on the cheek then left. He got on his motorcycle and sped down the street.
Christina went to his desk and took out two books. "Here." he said, handing one to Susannah. "This will tell you everything you need to know about firestarters.""What's that other book?" Susannah asked.
"This book gives techniques for teaching you, which is what I'll be reading." Christian answered, then they started reading.
Jacob went back to his house to wait for Susannah.
Susannah read the book Christian had given her. It was full of the history of firestarters and legends and things like that. Christian read his book and took some notes on techniques.
Jacob made a box of spaghetti and had the whole thing for lunch.
About two hours later, Christian said, "Ok, you should probably leave unless you want to watch me do homework." Susannah smiled. "I think I'll leave. See you tomorrow."
"Bye." Christian said and Susannah left.
Jacob went out to his garage to work on his car around the same time Billy got home.
Susannah walked to Jacob's house and knocked on his door.
"Oh hi Susannah," Billy said opening the door. "Jacob's round back in the garage."
"Thanks for letting me know." Susannah said. "And how are you, Mr. Black?" she asked.
"I'm fine thanks Susannah, and you?"
"I'm ok, thank you." Susannah said, smiling politely. "I'll see you later, Mr. Black." she said as she circled around to the garage where Jacob was.
Susannah entered the door of the garage. "Jacob, are you in here?" she said as she walked up.
"Hey," Jacob said coming around the front of the car.
"Hi." Susannah said. "What are you working on?" she asked.
"Just detailing the car," Jacob said.
"Fixing some dings in the paint job," Jacob said walking back to where he was to put away his small bottle of paint.
Jacob nodded. "So what did you and Christian do?" He asked.
"Christian let me read out of a history of Firestarters book while he read one on training techniques. He said that he'd have something put together by tomorrow." Susannah answered.
Jacob nodded. "What did you read about?"
"Firestarters and some of the legends and stuff about them." Susannah said.
"Anything more interesting than others?"
"Not particularly." Susannah said, a little vaguely.
"Anyway," Susannah said, changing the subject, "What have you been up to?" she asked.
"I had lunch and then was working on my Rabbit," Jacob said.{{srry I was just finishing my hw}}
"Cool." Susannah said.((It's ok. I had to go to dinner anyway.))
Jacob hopped up and sat on the hood of the car. "So what do you want to do?" he asked.
"I don't know. Was there anything you wanted to do?" Susannah asked.
"Well..." Jacob smiled then he leaned forward and kissed Susannah. "That's about it."
Susannah smiled. "That sounds like a really good idea." she said before she leaned forward and kissed him back.
Jacob deepend the kiss and smiled.
Susannah wrapped her arms around his neck.
