this means that george got angry and freaked out. "he lost his temper" (another idiom) it means that he couldn't take it any more.

Andrew Howard | 1 comments i like this idiom a lot particularly because i can relate to it, and it is very familiar. i have the hardest time saving my money and my mother always says, that i should. i think this is not only a good idiom but its also true.

Avery | 1 comments Getting "fired" or "laid-off" from a job doesn't mean they light you on fire or make you lie down anywhere. "Fired" means they made you leave because of something you did, and "laid-off" means they "had to" take your job away.

An idiom used in on of Rap artist Young Jeezys' song. Knowing that someone can't be buried a "G", Jeezy uses this idiom to tell that he wants to be buried the way that he lives his like, a"G" (Gangster).

"I hate his guts"
An idiom used in the book not really meaning that he hates the persons actual guts, but that he doesn't like the person at all.

In this sentence George uses the term "tangle"not as to unite or knit together, but he means being involved in a fight with another person.
When George talks of getting the "can" he is not talking about being handed a "can", He uses the term to talk of how they would get dismissed from their job.

i think this means that what's done is done and what ever you did you have to suffer the consequences.

no not literally! this just means you irritate someone.

Ok we aren't gonna roll out of a room or something like that! this simply means to leave.
