Goodreads Authors/Readers discussion
Introduce Yourself!
I'm Gary Ponzo and I'm trying to get better at socializing. My Nick Bracco series of thrillers have sold over 100,000 copies around the globe and am getting close to finishing the fifth installment.I recently deleted my email and lost hundreds of readers contacts and it's hurt my promotional ability, so I'm learning to reach out in different places. I love Goodreads and the passion I hear in the readers voices. After all, I'm a reader first and an author second.
Hi,My name is Victor and I am the author of the book "Mal: An Odyssey of Non-sequential Segments of a Life", that someone described as a "Touching, Gotchi Bildungsroman, an incredibly dynamic novel, a post-modern study of identity and self".
I'd like to find someone available to read and review my book.
Also, my book giveaway has just started today. I invite you to enter it: https://www.goodreads.com/giveaway/sh...
Thanks,
Vic
Hello, I am April O'Brien, author from Colo. I have three books coming out at one time in Nov. My trailers are done, my audio book comes out in Nov. too. All three of my books have had "Hollywood Coverage done on them. My reviews were incredible. Check my site, see videos, reviews even a fifteen minute sample of my audio book. "ENTER" is the book Hollywood is looking at for a movie. Although I believe "Midnight" would make a better movie. www.aprilsworld.com Oh, GOOGLE my name. I come up first.
Hi, my name is Susan Pruitt. I've published two books so far and am writing my third of An Ordinary Angel series. I've always dreamed of writing books, but never had anything to write about. That all changed recently when I woke up from a dream with the start of the storyline in my mind. Two weeks later the first book literally poured out of me. I'm jumping right into a new chapter of my life and write as much as I can while working my day job. The third book is almost complete. I believe it will be published at the end of the year. The first two are available on Amazon, and Barnes & Noble. I have 4 more storylines (not a series) in my head to write when the series is complete. I also blog on my website www.susanpruitt.com. I would love to connect with readers. Thank you.
Hello all!My name is Nicole Moore, and I am the author of a series of books for young adults interested in horseback riding! Glad to be here and part of this group!
Hi All,I'm Sue and I'm a writer working on a young adult paranormal romance trilogy I intend to self-publish using KDP and Createspace. I also intend to publish two contemporary romances I wrote a long time ago, after doing some serious editing. : )
Hi everyone, I'm YiZhong and I'm a teacher who has just finished a fantasy adventure novella that can be found on Kindle and payhip. Currently coming up with ideas for my second novella.
Hi there!I'm D.M. Murray, author of Fantasy and Fiction. I've just released my debut novel, Red Season Rising, with is the first instalment in a multi-part fantasy series. Red Season Rising made in to #3 in the genre listings for dark and low fantasy on the Kindle store, and has been picking up solid 5* reviews to date (no brown envelopes, I swear). I've only really started to use GoodReads and have been really impressed by the community and quality reviewing I've found here. I love to review books, and have added a few in the last couple of days. I look forward to adding more and joining in with some debates. I hope you can take a look at my book if you get the time. All the best, D.M.
I am Dale Walters, author of tax self-help books. Currently writing a series of e-books on personal finance for young adults in Canada. If successful, I will do the same for the US.
Hi, I'm Christina Bates and I just recently published two novels, The Sultan's Heir and The Desert Princess. I'm completely new to publishing and pretty much everything that comes along with it. Everything I've learned, I've pretty much learned in the past month, which means I didn't quite handle my books' release the way I should have, though I might not be alone in that. Now I'm trying really hard to learn it all and figure out what to do.
So, I'm going to get a handle on what I can, and if I can help anyone else, I absolutely will.
Hello I'm Joshua and I am writing my first book about an experience I had with God in Absolute Reality or heaven. I encourage you to visit my page, like and share it with anyone who might be interested. In the timeline post you can read the first three unedited chapters. Also feel free to comment. I plan to make this book available to the public by November 2017. Thanks so much and God bless!https://www.facebook.com/AbsoluteReal...
Hey, everyone!I published my first book Christmas Madness, Mayhem and Mall Santas: Humorous Insights into the Holiday Season a few years back, and then The Totally Lame Joke Book Series (please don't hold that against me... lol). I've also just written my first YA work of fiction--which is the first book in a series, entitled The Storms of Friendship: Surviving Gretchen, soon to be released.
I write humor as it's basically the only thing standing between me and the funny farm, and I write YA fiction because, as my husband puts it, I'm a perpetual seven-year-old.
When I'm not busy writing, I'm also an editor (as I've found it to sometimes be much more fun to clean up someone else's words than to make a mess with my own); and when I'm not working I love to read, compose music, play the piano, play tennis, go camping, spoil my dogs and attempt to keep my son and husband out of as much mischief as possible.
Can't wait to get acquainted with everybody! :)
Hi I`m Amanda and I`ve just recently published `From Stardust to Babylon`, an incredible true story of reincarnation and love beyond death. I`m learning more each day about online marketing but still only touched the tip of the iceberg. Would love to chat with other like-minded authors about their experiences. You can read more about me and my book on my website http://www.amandabucan.com
Hi! I'm Jennifer Provenza and I have my first novel currently available on sale in paperback and kindle on Amazon. I am a writer, actor, director, and professor of theatre and acting and I have written several plays, several of which have been produced in festivals. I'm also a mom to two adorable (and very busy) little girls. My novel Life is But a Dream centers around a character named Angela. Angela is a narcoleptic. Or at least, that’s what she tells people. The truth is . . . somewhat more complicated. Angela has two lives, existing in parallel universes. When she sleeps in one life, she is awake in her other life. In one reality she is single and successful in New York City. In her other reality, she is a loving wife and mother in suburban Sacramento. But which life is real? And can she be happy in both of them? When, in one of her realities, she meets Tony, a handsome poet, she begins to think that perhaps she can find love and have the family she always dreamed of. But, as things go well in one life, they begin to fall apart in another, and Angela has to navigate complicated questions of family, loyalty, and love.
Goodness, I hope I've clicked in the right field to introduce myself. My name is J Kaye Draper (Y'all can call me Kaye) and I'm a first time author/self publisher. I'm an avid reader. "Avid" as in I need at least a dozen books loaded and ready on my Kindle or I start getting the shakes. In fact, I have trouble writing due to reading breaks. There are some amazing writers out there and I'm so very addicted to seeing what they can do.As much as I love to read and write, I am that bad when it comes to making my way around the social network. Every stoke on the keyboard since listing my book on Amazon has been a learning experience. I've accidentally found myself in some very interesting places. I'd love to pretend I'm savvy about all this, but I have a terrible poker face, and you would see through me immediately. I'm looking forward to being a part of this group and I can't wait to see what happens next!
Okay, I'm going to hit "post". I'll apologize in advance if I wind up in the wrong place.

Hello! I'm so happy to stumble upon this group of avid readers and writers. I'm a new author with so many stories to write! It's a challenge to find the right balance between reading and writing.Originally from southern California, I've lived in Arizona for most of my life. I recently published the for the first time, though the rolodex in my mind and the shelves of written work will be released in do time.
I'd love for you to check out this emotional story told by alternating points of view. "Don't Judge A Girl By Her Mother" illustrates a connection between words, prescription drugs, and their abilities to wound or heal.
