The first letter, Nike -see message #1 & the example. Or you might enjoy Anne of Green Gables. If you liked that, there are other books in the same series that all have “Anne” as the first word in the title. I hope this helps.

Ok, I got confused when someone came up with "The Life of Arsenyev" as an example. Because that's the first letter in a name but not the first letter in the sentence. And also "Emma" by Jane Austen confused me at first since a is the last letter in the title (until I saw that the first letter in the author's surname also counts.)
I'm really cognitively exhausted because of the brain fatigue that comes with ME. I haven't been able to read but a short story in all of July, can't even concentrate listening to audio books which I often can when I can't read real books. My cognitive ability goes up and down and unfortunately my reading this year has been terribly low.
And sometimes I misunderstand even tiny amounts of text as yours above. It's so frustrating when your brain doesn't want to cooperate. I've been longing for reading "Lady Chatterley’s Lover" (which I've never read) and I planned on doing that in July but alas, I've hardly been able to open my mail or reading through my email. I hate it when it's like this.
Well, I'll probably find another short story to fulfill this month's reading challenge. Does Edgar Allan Poe count? I love Edgar Allan Poe but it's his middle name that starts with A.
Nike, please don’t worry. I’m sorry you’re having problems. Read any story or book that will make you happy in August - that’s all that matters. Or don’t read anything for a while if that would help you.
