Yossel Viera The series Worm by Wildbow is about a teenage girl named Taylor Hebert who is a bullied teen who can control insects. She aspires to be a hero but through many huge misunderstandings ends up as a villain! One of my favorite parts is when on her very first night out she encounters a gang leader known as Lung who gradually turns more dragon-like as the fight goes on. Taylor uses her powers to have venomous insects like bees and spiders to attack him before he has thick dragon tissue, eventually the spiders end up giving Lung an anaphylactic shock before he is a dragon. This book is part of a series with characters that are really well built and deep in character development. This book reads like a manga, having the reader turn pages and elicit all kinds of emotions. Although I have not read the entire series yet, one thing I currently dislike is the fact that Taylor’s power hasn’t been used with such cleverness yet. This book was suggested to me since I enjoyed the anime called JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure where a simple boring power can be used so cleverly it seems like it can destroy even the strongest powers. I gave this 9/10 stars and i recommend it for JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure fans who would like to see a similar power system in different settings and with different characters and story narrative.

The series Worm by Wildbow has a character known as Taylor Herbert who is bullied by her best friend Emma after one of her friends got violently assaulted and after a hero came to help solve the issue she indoctrinated Emma with the predator vs prey mindset where Emma was tired of being the “prey” and started to bully Taylor since she saw her as weak and Emma wanted to feel like the predator. These issues are very similar to mine (except the bullying) since just today a few hours before writing this I have lost a pretty close friend of mine. Quite a long story but to shorten it she was blackmailing me which pushed me to stop being friends and move on which is what happened in the book as well and I’ve never felt such freedom.
