ProseAndPetals | 357 comments New things are growing--it's spring! (My favorite season)
For this seasonal challenge I thought it would be fun to try new things. Here are the prompts. This time it is an individual challenge. The one who has finished the prompts the best wins!

3. Start a new book series over 4 books long.
4. Read a genre you do not typically read.
5. Read a book in a country you have never visited.
6. Read a book with flowers on the cover
7. Read a book with lots of animals in the Novel.
8. Read a book where it rains.
9. Read a kids book.
10. Read a graphic novel.

Karin | 189 comments When does this start? Do we include books we've already read since spring started in March, or starting from now?

That's what I thought, but wanted to check :) I'm not one for graphic novels, but will see what I can fit in. I have a kids book I just picked up from the library today before I saw this.

I figured as much! I've read graphic novels and nonfiction for challenges and wish I liked it better. I've been on book sites since 2013 and have read out of my comfort zone--it's a good thing to do.

Karin | 189 comments 7/10 so far :)

message 12: by Karin (new)

Karin | 189 comments I've read 8/10, but I see you're hot on my heels. I'd better think about starting a new series and perhaps even reading a graphic novel even though they're not something I enjoy. Who knows?

message 13: by Karin (new)

Karin | 189 comments Quick question. If a series is not numbered and can be read in any order because each book has a separate story, does it matter which book we read first?

You finished, just late :) We weren't going for a prize or anything, and considering you were in a reading slump not all that long ago, I think it's great you read for every category.
