Twilight Saga or Hunger Games Trilogy?
Oh *Ella* that must be torture. I'm so happy my mom doesn't do that. She is a reading teacher but she is so anti-twilight. She always complains to me when one of her students writes a book report about Twilight.
my mom pretty mch only reads non-ficton
Ugh at first there were just people smiling and then they got married and i was like "Oh thats a really pretty place to get married" and then some stuff that was definetly not PG came on........

*Ella* wrote: "You do have a point, it's IS entertaining. It's entertaining how BAD it is!"funny, but that is true. Its just soo dramtic and awkward. But the plot is interesting. But like i said it doesn't compare to HG.
hunger games. Twilight is a nice, light read, but there isnt character development. The personality of the characters doesnt change during the corse of 4 books, they dont evolve as events happen. In the hunger games, all the characters grow and evolve with each new event that is thrust upon them
Definitely "The Hunger Games!" In the "Twilight" series, the characters always remained the same. Bella, Edward, and especially the Cullen family had little to no character development. In "New Moon" and "Eclipse," Bella and Jacob's relationship contained some change. They progressed from a casual friendship to love. I liked that,; because it was the most realistic development between characters in the entire series O.o, but then Meyer ruined that in "Breaking Dawn."
In "The Hunger Games," change was a constant. Katniss, Peeta, Gale, Prim, Katniss' mother, Haymitch, and even the Capitol stylists were changed by everything that was going on around them. That should be a given in a dystopian series, I admit. However, in any good series of books, the characters should evolve. That simply didn't happen in "Twilight." Besides, in "The Hunger Games," the evolution of the characters was amazingly intricate. Subtle at first, which made it seem completely natural. It made it more believable and emotional, in my opinion.
Also, I believe "The Hunger Games" possessed a better plot overall, in comparison to "Twilight." It had a better concept. Both the plot and the characters coexisted in HG world. In "Twilight," it sometimes appeared as though the characters were sacrificed for the sake of the plot; I counted many OOC moments. Also, Meyer sacrificed the plot for the characters; there were too many chapters in which it was like /nothing/ happened.
There are times where I preferred both writing styles, though. Meyer’s could sometimes be poetic; I noticed that in “Eclipse.” Although, with her it was an extreme case of hit or miss to me. However, Collin’s voice became stronger and stronger throughout the three books, which I loved. Her style progressed and developed beautifully, just as the story did.
So, at the end of the day, I guess I strongly prefer “The Hunger Games.” :)

Although I am a big "Big Fan" of the Twilight series, I am a A DIE-HARD HUNGER GAMES FAN!!! HUNGER GAMES IS THE BEST!!!........EVER!!!!......OF ALL TIME!!!......... **spazzes out and falls out of chair** :)

Twilight was... nice. And then the movies came along. But I do have to agree with Sara. The characters did evolve in THG, but, Meyer's... well... yeah... honestly, I can't stand twilight any more. There is so much hysteria about it, and crazy fans, and over the top merchandise (who seriously needs and Edward doll? Ik!!!!). I just can't stand when things get out of control, but hopefully THG wont do that, And if it does, I'll be on the bandwagon when it falls off the cilff.
1) Has ANYONE voted twilight 2)Because I am not 3) Hunger games all the way! 4) 1, 2 and 3 5) All of the above
Your confusing me. I remember when Barbara told me once that there was a Guy named David here at one point. He HATED THG, but for some reason he LOVED twilight. First of all, he's a Guy. I find it strange that guys read twilight, let alone love it. SecTHG, how can you not like THG? He started bad mouthing this group and cursing, and when Barbara blocked him, he sent her a very wordy message about how she was bleeping stupid and a bleep. He reported him thankfully. Does this answer your question?

ugh why would you hate THG and love Twilight? That just doesnt make sense. I cant even wrap my mind around the concept
I've only read the first 2 books in the Twilight series but that was enough for me. I am going to finish reading Eclipse though. But definetly Hunger Games.
Right. last yr i was really into twilight (i hadnt read thg then) and thought it was awsome. The films made are rubbish incomparison!!!!!!!!!!!!
However, I got fed up of it and realised it had gone WAY ott!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
HG all the way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My only worry is: when thg film comes out the same thing is going to happen to thg!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That CAN'T happen!!!! *SOB*

When I was younger, I loved Twilight because I can relate to Bella (psshh not in the I moved to a town that just happened to have vampires and werewolves and coincidentally I'm the only one who's incapable of being mind read. Did I forget to mention I end up preggo with his love child and I almost died from it and one of the other guys who loves me conveniently gave up and ended up with my baby).Just in the way that I moved to another town, and I used to be a social outcast who read wayyy too much. Everyone else was reading it, so like a total idiot I did. And I wanted to be Bella, and just happen to go from "Everyone hates me" to "Everybody loves me". I'm not saying Twilight is the worst thing ever, but I think there is nothing redeemable about Bella, the adjectives, the writing structure, the plotline--nada. Go read it if you want, but in comparison to the Hunger Games, why would you ever pick up Twilight?

Same here but i didnt move i just went to camp.... so only a week of everyone loving me :( haha
Eh it's okay. it's good for mindless, gooey reading. I go to all the midnight premieres and stuff just for a girls-night-out type deal, but in actual content? Ya, I've read better. Hunger Games definately falls into the "better" category
Hunger Games. Twilight was okay, albeit a bit sickening. It was like Meyer was in her own fantasy world, holding up a barbie and ken doll and making them say to each other how much they were in love (for no reason at all other than that they were both beautiful) Hunger Games get a zillion votes from me :D
Pip wrote: "Hunger Games. Twilight was okay, albeit a bit sickening. It was like Meyer was in her own fantasy world, holding up a barbie and ken doll and making them say to each other how much they were in lov..."Edward is ugly...not beautiful.

Hunger Games. Katniss blows Bella away! But I love analyzing Twilight and its appeal - so much so I wrote a whole dang book on the subject!
I really lov both but The Hunger Games is better though i also like twilight, but THG is better cuz Peeta has sense of humor though he's dying, and edward is kinda drepressed when bella is dying (i understand it but at least give her happy moments to remember, right?)But THG is the BEST BOOK EVER :D TEAM PEETA TO THE TOP <3 PM

I dont think Twilight is horrible..it is entertaining. But it doesn't compare to HG. It just doesn't.
