Twilight Saga or Hunger Games Trilogy?

I love the Twilight Saga but like all stories it has glitches...I personally don't like the fact that in some areas of the stories the Cullens and Bella act too perfect and entirely unrealistic. But I think my favorites in the series have been Eclipse and Breaking Dawn. There was a lot of action and Stephanie Meyer really sucks you in and surprises you with shocking events! But based on which aspect you look at each book, the Hunger Games Trilogy is more satisfying than Twilight but also vise versa.

lol...THE....HUNGER...GAMES.
Twlilight is NO competitiion.
The romance in twilight was crappy and didn't make me scream "awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww" in my head once! i do that all the time for THG! and i hated the characters in Twilight but i love the characters in THG! Screw Edward Cullen im in love with Peeta Mellark!!
They are both EXTRAORDINARY books. I love them both. BUT i am leaning towards THE HUGNER GAMES. Only because there have been no movies made from them, with bad acting and obsessed fans who havnt even read the books.
Im sorry, but the films ruined it for me.
THG. Just.
Kristen Stuart..??she's like the worst actress ever!
in the first movie she blinked waaaaaaay too much...
and she dodn't sound natural AT ALL!!!!!!!!
and i can't stand her...
Nope. I hope s/he is good. But Jenn, they can always do wigs, contacts, etc.. which makes it cheesy.
I like that....one of my friends found this website and desighed a tshirt that said peeta vs Gale... hows a girl to choose??
im not sure i can compare Hunger Games to Twilight since they are very different. But, i think THG is more exciting since it does not focus on the main character's love drama.. it has politics, rebellion and gives enough attention to other characters as well
although S.C. could have added more Gale scenes on the first book. i would have loved to read his reaction when Katniss volunteered to replace prim... the struggle of wanting to volunteer as well but he cant since he has to take care of his family. that would have given us more of who Gale really is (sorry off topic)
i did like Twilight regardless of the poor writing style of Meyer but i think Hunger Games is in a different league
I agree with you on that about Gale. Because usually some of the greatest characters in a series/anime/movie/whatever never get enough screen time yet lots of people love said character.
yeah. gale better get a lot more screen time in the next book. there is NO comparison between twilight and h.g. none whatsoever.
That would be a shame, since you know, not much screen time.Though if there was a book on Katniss's hunting days Gale would obviously have a lot of time in it.
well yeah, but I think Gale will be in the next book alot cause hees there with katniss (and peeta isnt!! :))))

HG and Twi***** are in totally seperate categories.
*watches, enthralled at the fact people are eating confetti*
Even though HG and Twilight are different categories...sorta...I can analyze them on 2 things: Romance and writing ability.
Romance: Hunger Games is actually quite realistic and I like the fact that, yes, people who love each other don't always act extra in love ALL the time...
In Twilight, Bella's sort of EDWARD EDWARD EDWARD YOU IS MINE OM NOM NOM VAMPIRE I LOVE YOU. Katniss's mind: OH GOSH I'M IN AN ARENA AND I'M GOING TO DIE PROBABLY LOOK ORANGE BACKPACK MUST GET...PEETA? WHERE....
Meyer cannot write to save her life. Uh. She just.......XP
Collins had to lower the reading level, that's why we're seeing a bunch of sentence fragments everywhere. (Which bugs me badly, but still. Plot's amazing.)

I enjoy reading fragments because it adds voice a lot, and it is for all reading levels, because my mom really enjoyed it (excluding all the blood, etc cause she's a nonnviolent person). Twilight, however bored both of us to death so now we are both ghosts.
a fellow ghost, I have to agree with you Tiffany. ON the reading level, that is. My little sis loved it, I love it, My grandma loves it. Plus, all kinds of people like it. I know a romantic fanatic and a gore lover who both love all aspects of the hunger games.
Straight out gore for me = peeved, scared, trying to think of happy images, gets hunger games book to keep the nightmares away.Straight out romance gets boring for a while unless there is a twist of interesting or tragic D: like if the character, one of them, is going to die because of sickness or accident.
D: Everybody's saying that! I think that yes, they will sort of fade away from each other, but not because Gale's all caught up in rebellion. Katniss is going to be helping rebel too....
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
How far away is August 24, anyway?

Save the drama for your mama with straight up romance. Straight up gore results in tiresome actionflickeshness fealing where all I want to do is get Bruce Willis shot, finish the movie, and sleep.
Oh me gosh, The Hunger Games hands down. Twilight has absoultey nothing on The Hunger Games. Enough said.
