Some people say if you like The Help you would like
Saving CeeCee Honeycutt~~Beth Hoffman
I haven't read CeeCee but you may want to check it out.
I've started Blackout (All Clear, #1). It's been a while since I've read a Connie Willis novel and I'd forgotten how funny her writing can be.
I'm voting for Dead Souls, Antares.
I just read "Hush, Hush" for the Teen Fan Girls group... my recommendation is to read something else
I enjoyed that one, too, Cyn. I just finished Kingsolver's latest, and will attempt to pen a review later today.
I'm about to read Eutopia: A Novel of Terrible Optimism. The creepy girl on the cover is enough to make me want to lock my door and settle down for some holiday horror.
I usually read kindle books, but I am reading what is known as a Dead Tree Book (Paperback/Hardback) x
Cynthia wrote: "I'm loving "Prince of Tides," by Pat Conroy."I've actually never read that, Cynthia... let me know what you think
Susan wrote: "I have the most amazing dreams after I read that type of novel. I become a super bad ass vixen weilding double swords. Rob Snow appears frequently, too."I'm currently reading Game of Thrones. Last night I dreamt I was Laura Prepon and was in a fencing match with Liz Taylor.

Was it a young Liz Taylor or an old one? How did you fair? I need to be properly prepared in case you interlope in one of my dreams.
Young Liz. I think I won. I usually blame odd dreams on chicken, but I'm attributing this one to the book!
I am reading The League for the Suppression of Celery which was a free download. It is alright so far but there is a chapter called something like, "Getting the fuck out of Utah", which makes me laugh and think of Phil.
Phil wrote: "Starting Anansi Boys next."I liked this one, but it did take me about 50 pages to get into the story. I generally like Gaiman's books, though.
Susan wrote: "Isn't FeLarryix the epitome of laconic?"WHAT'S THAT SUPPOSED TO MEAN?
No, I'm serious. What does it mean?
Fiona (Titch) wrote: "I am reading Glass Houses - Rachel Caine in tree book form."I love that series! I'm reading The Rising Tide: A Novel of World War II.
Charly wrote: "Just finished White Oleander and I am starting Tropic of Cancer."How did you like White Oleander?
I have finally finished Locked In - Kerry Wilkinson. Now about to embark on But Inside I'm Screaming - Elizabeth Flock.
Jammies wrote: "Fiona, how are you liking the series?"Really liking the series. I don't have Black Dawn, Bitter Blood and Fall of Night x
I am pleased to announce that I have finished The Dead Girls' Dance - Rachel Caine. Now to going to read A Cold Day For Murder - Dana Stabenow.

That book looks very good, Lobstergirl. Is it interesting?"
Moderately so. It is quite fascinating to find out what these men of another era were like. In so many ways they're more similar to us today than different. Yet I feel the author's style could be a little more engaging. I feel like I'm skittering above a bunch of data rather than being drawn into a narrative.

Picked up The Night Circus again, about halfway. Didn't get into it at first but I'm more in the rhythm now.
