I heard she's going to buy Newfoundland, rename it Opralandia, and rule over it with an iron fist. She hopes this will set a precedent for future mogulocracies.
I hate your friend. I hate The Oprah Network. I hate Oprah. I hope someone drops a cinder block on her head.Did you know they don't have Oprah in Poland but they do have HBO shows? They don't have the death penalty but they DO castrate pedophiles? I'm making a list. If I ever need to leave the country that's where I'm going.
From my favorite gossip blog: Oh, and I saw that Oprah is quitting her show in late 2011. Well sure, this way we can give her a nice 22 month send off and every guest she has will bring her presents. Do we really need this much notice? No, but she wants to make sure that people are watching so she can go out on a high note.
OH! that's her "network"... I thought, KD, meant she was going to have her own channel... right between lifetime and Bravo.
Luckily, channels are easily locked out.
oh my gosh! Granted I haven't seen Oprah in years but I did see football and all the stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid commercials that went along with it the other night. She can't be causing more of a blight on our society than that inanity!

I don't get the Oprah hate. Not that i'm all that fond of her myself, but i just don't have enough exposure to her to hate her. Possibly because i don't watch much tv? Maybe i just tune her out? I dunno. Just don't get it.Rachel Ray, now...who i can't get away from because her face is on 2/3 the books in the bookstores, half the magazines, and last giftmas was on EVERY GODDAMN BOX OF ANYTHING IN THE GROCERY STORE....she kinda bugs me.
Yeah, I never hear about Oprah except on goodreads.
