yooliah I read City of Bones and liked it, but didn't love it by any means, nor was I compelled to run out and get the next one. A cashier at Borders told me the series gets better starting with the second book. Is it true?? Should I read the next one?? (City of Ashes)

Hope I believe it's true. I read the second and third books only, and understood everything even without book one. City of Ashes is completly amazing, I highly suggest you read it.

Jmart Yes you should it gets a whole lot better

Ryleigh This is my order ! 1.City of Glass 2.City of bones 3.City of ashes ! I put city of ashes last because the only part that I really liked was at the Sellie court if i spelt that right !

GSGS The only thing I can say is, if you're going to read the whole series, read them quickly and consecutively. It gets confusing if you leave a few months between the books #LFMF

Stephanie This was definitely my experience. I also liked but didn't love City of Bones. But I really got hooked in City of Ashes. I would recommend you do read at least the second before you give up the series.

Kasi Blake It took me a while to get into them, but I love them now and can't wait to read the next one.

yes i think city of ashes is a bit more upbeat in a way...but once you read ciy of glass, you will most deffinately fall for the series!!!!!!!

i think the same thing the whole boat thing was too....typical i guess theres no other word for it....and i guess a bit cheesey....but i cannot wait to read the fourth book city of fallen angels! OM freakin G!

Nurlely I loved City of Bones. Still love City of Ashes, but not as much as City of Bones, except the Seelie court scene. I am absolutely falling for City of Glass....:)

Jenny this series is the best!!!! read it! it's gets more exciting when you read City of Glass, i would have to say that City of Fallen Angels would be my favourite!!!

Angelu Actually I can't remember much from the second book.. only more from CoB and CoG... don't know why...
