This is one of my favorite Science fiction books. haven't read any of Wilhem's mystery but would love to have a good recommendation. I must have read this book for the first time about 20 years or more ago and have read it again lately as it is sitting on "My favorite books" shelf. It is a timeless story or maybe even more true now than before.
50. Soldier of the Mist by Gene Wolfe(Goal met! Now to see how many more I can manage by the end of the year.)
Candiss wrote: "51. Lakota Woman by Mary Crow Dog (read last week...I forgot to note it here.)"I read that book about 10 years ago and found it utterly disturbing that that kind of prejudice happened in my life time!!
62. Brave New World by Aldous Huxley - This is actually a re-read from many years ago. I wanted to discuss it with someone, but I couldn't remember it clearly enough, so I re-read.)
65. Petty Magic: Being the Memoirs and Confessions of Miss Evelyn Harbinger, Temptress and Troublemaker by Camille Deangelis
