The Prisioner remake on AMC

AMC is showing an up-dated version of "The Prisioner" with Ian McKellan (Yes, THAT Ian McKellan) as #2. They are also letting people watch all 17 of the original (BBC) episodes. It starts on Sunday, (Nov 15) runs from 8-10, then again on Mon (Nov 16) 8-10 and finally on Tue (Nov 17) 8-10. If you can't watch it on the day it airs (waves hand) then they will open up the episodes on-line the next day so that you don't have to miss them. I tried to post a link to the web-site here, but my computer is starting to act funky (I need: more memory, better video card, and, finally to re-load everything) and it wouldn't let me.

I don't know if any of you remember the cult classic ORIGINAL The Prisioner with Patrick McGoohan starring. Its a kind of weird show, but boy, was it intriguing.

I watched the original series several times. I'm not watching it again because I've found that I prefer to watch a new one by itself, when new ones come out.

I don't think I watched the original series when it was new mainly because it was a BBC series and those didn't always come to the US right away in the old days. I'll buy "weird" and "intriguing."

I wish I could watch this now. I don't have AMC where I'm staying. I love Jim Caviezel. So handsome and a great actor.
