Hahaha! Thanks Kitty....I have never worn a bikini.....which is why I will wear one as much as before!
Those crossed fingers must be working Gabi....stronger by the day. I hope I won't be prone to recurrences...I suppose I will be at risk of adhesions....never want to go through that again.
Ruth wrote: "It's Earl Grey that tastes like old saddles to me. ."That will be terribly disappointing for Captain Picard to hear. I like Lipton Citrus Diet Green Tea in bottles. It's terrifically insalubrious and non-biodegradable, but it doesn't require preparation and I don't own a tea kettle. (Also, last week in Texas, it was 109°.)
Glad you've weathered the storm, Debs. And I just read that a bunch of green teas have no where near the nutrients their labels claim. Surprise, surprise.
Also, big industries like Kraft use synthetic ingredients in products like Kraft Mac & Cheese in the U.S. (where it's allowed by profits-are-everything-and-people's-health-matter-not regulators) and natural ones abroad where killer ingredients and GMO ingredients are banned.
What a great country some of us live in....

We like the Ahmed brand English Breakfast tea and the Earl Grey. Hubby likes it with half and half, and he adds lots of sugar. Of course who has time for that. Easiest way , 2 tea bags one cup water , microwave 1 1/2 to 2 mins. on high. Add cream , and sugar ,voila tea.
80%......and off to Wellington for the weekend....big ballet anniversary and Friends AGM and conference. I,am going to cherry pick activities and rest in between. It was nothing to do with diet Gabi....apparently some sort of scar tissue (probably from a previously un diagnosed event that resolved itself) had cut off the small intestine like a rubber band! The surgeon snipped it away and there was fortunately no need to resect. Can't wait to see you in Sydney in October!
Thanks guys.....safe home now.....I was at a function on the first floor of the theatre at 5.10pm yesterday in Wellington when a 6.7 earthquake struck......it was violent......I shoved my head under a chair to protect my brain! My daughter and I both got grazed knees from the friction (shaking made our knees slide on the carpet)! The speechmaking stuttered to a halt but the party went on. Mall and I decided to leave after 15 minutes and the 10th aftershock over 5....parking building had closed but was allowed to take car out....had to dodge fallen rubble on the down ramps! I am meant to be going back tomorrow.......hmmmmm.
All good Gabi.....even though it was the same size as last time (6.6) it wasn't as violent....more like a rolling motion....like standing on the deck of a ship. We all just hope that those two will be it.....it's a worry when you have two such big quakes inside a 4 week period!
I'm baaaack! I have survived long haul flights, mad Italian drivers and pitted roads, dog bite (truly), and the campylobacter bug I picked up on the trip home.......met Gabi in Sydney! But was already so sick I couldn't enjoy to the fullest.....I'll have to go back! Have you all been playing nicely while I was gone?
Well! Yesterday got the bushfire season well and truly going in so many places, even Lake Macquarie. In the south of the lake, though, nowhere near us. Springwood and Winmalee in the Blue Mountains (West of Sydney)copped it. Just north of us in Port Stephens, I must call my niece!Winds over 100kms in some places, (Roses blown to tatters, again!) Us with no AC!
Speaking of the Aircon, we threatened the manufacturer and the distributor with the attention of the Department of Fair Trading My, that got their attention! All of a sudden it's "why weren't we told?"
One minute its "If you want to accept our quote of $1584.00 to find the leak and fix it, (NO guarantees, mind!)sign the quote and send it back!"
Now its" We'll be out on whatever day and if we find the leak is the distributors fault, we'll make them pay" or words to that effect!
Welkommen, Debs. Quiet as church mice here. Maybe the owl logo has to go in favor of a mouse complete with nightcap (tequila, I suppose)....
Oops. Forgot. No tequila, no lousy WHITE Russian, but the real deal (not mentioning that the "real deal" is vodka neat out of the freezer).
