If there's a book on there which isn't an English-language edition (there are quite a few in the May list), can you use the English version?

Cheers
Just want to make sure I understand the rules about compilations. On the March list, book 51 is Area X: The Southern Reach Trilogy, which contains books 1-3 of the trilogy.
I just finished Annihilation, which is book 1 of the Southern Reach Trilogy.
It's ok for me to claim this for this task? e.g., I don't need to read all three books, or the omnibus that actually appears on the list. Yes?

GR staff puts out a "what we're reading" lists every other month. Read a book from the March 2015 list or the May 2015 list. If there is a July list, you may also use a book from that list.
REQUIRED: Specify the list on which you found your book and the number on the list.
NOTE: There are several compilations on these lists. You may read any one book included in the compilation, as long as it has been separately published as an individual book and otherwise meets SRC requirements (length, etc.). In your post, along with the information about the list and number, include a link to the separately published book you read.
