SOLVED. Childrens book full of short stories [s]

Hello, I've been looking for this book for quite some time. I read it when i was about 4 or 5, back in the early 90's. However, it may be an older book.
I believe the cover was yellow, although I don't quite remember what was on it.
The stories that stuck in my brain Are one about two brothers who didn't get enough sleep so they were rushing to do everything. In rushing they messed everything up, e.g. putting on one anothers clothes. I also think there was a story about a maid named Amelia Bedelia, who messed everything up like pouring coffee on her bossess head(I may be confusing two books). There was certainly a poem about a duck who ran away with a dollar bill.

Sounds like it's an anthology, as Amelia Bedelia is the character in a series of kids books that were anthologized quite a bit. That means you're looking at a collection of stories and poems by different authors.

Do you remember anything about the illustrations? Or any other stories or poems, too?

Sorry thats the extent of my memories of the book. If i remember anything else about it I'll be fure to list it.

I believe it is Ready, Set, Read--And Laugh!: A Funny Treasury for Beginning Readers

This has an Amelia Bedelia story, a poem called "Hello, Bill" about a duck with a dollar bill and a story called "Bigger and Smaller" which is from Big Goof and Little Goof and is about friends (not brothers) but they look alike and put on each others clothes. The cover even has a yellow border!

OMG! Thank you so much! I have been looking for this book for the past 5 years. Google wasn't much help with the little I remembered, and no one else seemed to know what I was talking about. I had pretty much given up. Thank you for bringing this back into my life. I'd hug you if I knew you!
