Do you think this means that the book will be printed in green ink, since the first one was printed in blue ink?

that would be cool if the ink was green!
I was reading it and I didn't know if I had eye problems or if the ink really was green. I guess I didn't notice that the first book was in blue.
You don't have eye problems, Crystal. The ink is green. I think Stiefvater made the book more visually pleasing by using ink the same color as the cover. I expect Forever to have red ink. 'Forever' will be pulished in July of 2011, so I guess I'll see then. The color ink and the book covers ensure that I will buy the books for the Wolves of Mercy Falls seires instead of ebooks or audio.
Huh...I never noticed the blue and green inks. Cool! I imagine if red is used for Forever it will be very dark, as the other two were, so it won't impact the reading.
I love the idea of the different color inks. But the translations have normal ink, so I hadn't noticed it before. But it sounds really cool...
Is red ink going to be used in Forever?
Olivia wrote: "in shiver its really dark blue linger really dark green and probly in forever really dark red"I hope not red ink would really bother my eyes, plus it takes me back to school and bad papers get red ink.
I didn't mind the green and blue though, I thought it was rather creative!
wow.... i never even noticed the ink till now that is so cool i think forever will be in a dark auborn red. so its easier on the eyes for people.
i read both of those and never even noticed there was different colour inks! i will have to check my copies when i get home from work to see! maybe its just the american ones??
I thought that the colored ink is pretty cool. It was so sutbtle that I noticed it at first, but if I happened to be reading for a long time, my eyes seemed to forget, and it seemed black. Trick of the eyes! It will be interesting to see if the third book will have a tint of red to it.
if u look at the green for a really long time they end up looking like black. at first it gave me a headache...
Wait, is the ink in Shiver blue, because it just looked black to me?
I just noticed how for most people they rated the book 4 or 5 stars. I was saying I can tell you didn't like it that much because your rating kind of stands out as the lowest. I don't mean anything by it though.
ok i just checked my copies of shiver and linger and they are in black ink but the covers look different to the blue and green ones on here. my covers are black and white. (british version).... so i'm thinking maybe its just the american versions that have the coloured ink
