That word confuses me. What exactly is a nerd? Is it a stereotype? What of? Someone who wears glasses? Watches certain films/shows? Is good at math? I love sci-fi, read books, and I have glasses. But I couldn't care less about physics. Does that make me a fake?
I'd rather we were all allowed to like the things we like, and dress the way we want, without fear of being judged. If that's what being a nerd is all about, then I'm in. But if we're excluding people because of how they dress or whether or not they read Twilight, that takes away the whole point.
And then there's geeks . . .
