TTPBM: Where is the one place in the world that you have never been but really want to go.

message 8504: by mels (new)

mels (padmeskywalkers) | 10006 comments Mod
New Zealand. Definitely New Zealand.

Or Hogwarts. Definitely Hogwarts.

Middle-earth.

Camp Half-Blood

The TARDIS...

Same?

message 8505: by Rachel (new)

Rachel | 458 comments HOGWARTS!!!!! Also Paris. The Centre of the Earth.

TTPBM: What is your favorite Classical story?

message 8506: by [deleted user] (new)

To Kill a Mockingbird!!

Same?

message 8507: by Toni (last edited Jul 04, 2014 02:07PM) (new)

Toni Sparks (sparkles0322) May be a surprise, but Moby Dick. Just a different kind of story. Loved it when I was younger. Weird right?

TTPBM: If you were to magically climb on the side of any building/structure/mountain/monument, without fear of falling or hights because of anti-gravity for you alone, what and where would it be? Any significance to why?

message 8508: by Rachel (new)

Rachel | 458 comments I would go to Nepal and climb Mt. Everst.

TTPBM: if you could go back in time and meet 1 historical figure who would it be?

message 8509: by johanna (jo), soliloquist. (new)

johanna (jo) (johannad_m) | 11500 comments Mod
J.R.R. Tolkien. Or ACD. Or Shakespeare.

TTPBM: You're trapped in a room for the rest of your life with one fictional character of your choice. Who do you choose?

message 8510: by Irene (new)

Irene (wingdesilverii) I'm going to do the spontaneously because otherwise we will be here all day. Ash from Iron Fey....he has a scepter that creates portals to anywhere (like doors that you can open and look out to super specific places) so I could be happy with that :)

TTPBM: You have to marry a fictional character, who do you choose?

message 8511: by mels (new)

mels (padmeskywalkers) | 10006 comments Mod
Hahaha *cough*(view spoiler)*cough*
*slightly embarrassed*

Same?

message 8512: by Rachel (new)

Rachel | 458 comments Uh, probably Harry Potter. I don't know why though.

TTPBM: if you were able to teleport where would you go and why?

message 8513: by Irene (new)

Irene (wingdesilverii) Jem I don't remember his name from Infernal Devices

TTPBM: favorite book character who dies? (And put it in a spoiler with the book outside so no one gets a book ruined)

message 8514: by Rachel (new)

Rachel | 458 comments The Ghost of Cruchfeild hall.

TTPBM: last time cried over a book?

message 8515: by Irene (new)

Irene (wingdesilverii) Oh good grief, I answered the wrong one because I took too long thinking...oh well.

Haha, um, years ago? Books don't make me cry.

TTPBM: Last wonderful book you read?

message 8516: by Evaris (new)

Evaris | 72 comments The Fellowship of the Rings

(I saw this question above and thought it interesting.)
TTPBM: If you could change anything about the world, what would it be?

message 8517: by MJ (new)

MJ Woody (harpsickhord) The world's leadership. And I don't mean just the leaders, but the way things are run in every country, etc.

TTPBM: Favorite Coldplay song (Viva la Vida and Paradise are not valid answers)

message 8518: by Theodosia of the Fathomless Hall (last edited Jul 06, 2014 02:58PM) (new)

Theodosia of the Fathomless Hall (taelianaofthewind) | 1580 comments Rachel wrote: "TTPBM: if you were able to teleport where would you go and why?"

Hm. France. I'd stroll around the countryside and perhaps a few castles for a bit, then teleport back. It has such history and lore... and history...<3.

What if I responded I have never heard of this "Coldplay" in my life? Incidentally... Well, I haven't, but I was making a joke with the quotation marks.
Yes. I have a hopeless and highly preferable deficient of pop culture knowledge!

I shall leave that open, shall I?

TPPBM: Favorite romantic pair in a work of fiction? A "OTP" if I may use the expression. :D.

message 8519: by Priya (new)

Priya | 16 comments Um...favorite what?

message 8520: by Irene (new)

Irene (wingdesilverii) @Priya: It's basically your favorite fictional romantic paring. Like, you can pick a current couple (like say Katniss and Peta from the Hunger Games) or you can make one of your own. I think some groups refer to this as shipping (yes? someone with more knowledge let me know).

message 8521: by Rachel (new)

Rachel | 458 comments Tris and Tobias from Divergent.

Same?

message 8522: by Evaris (new)

Evaris | 72 comments Katniss and Gale $KALEFOREVER

TPBM: What is your spirit animal?

message 8523: by Irene (new)

Irene (wingdesilverii) Spirit animal? Ummm, not sure what you are referencing here, but! I shall give you the critter that I was told I would get if I had a patronous (not sure if I spelled that right, someone Harry Potter literate do comment on that if you wish). A phoenix :)

TTPBM: Imagine that you live in a world where the people who live there have wings and that the functionality of their wings depends on their maturity level. This includes type of wings (do you have angle wings? bird wings? bat wings? etc), the color of your wings (certain colors reflect heat or could help you blend in), the positioning of your wings (are they on your shoulders where you have the most control or did you some how manage to end up with them coming out of your head?).

Describe what wings you would have.

message 8524: by Evaris (new)

Evaris | 72 comments I would have bat wings, they would come out of my mid back area, they would be a darker yellowish color, they would have a, so to speak, so-so function ability. They would also be positioned downwards.

TPBM: Same

message 8525: by Rachel (new)

Rachel | 458 comments Angle wings. The would be Rainbow feathery wing with no purpose whatsoever. They would be like the wings of the Ancient Egyption goddess Isis.

TTPBM: So you are flying to Hati but you crash land on a Island with no food or water. Luckily you find some Natives, but they won't let you have food or water.

What would you do to get the food and water?

message 8526: by Irene (new)

Irene (wingdesilverii) I'd go find my own...

TTPBM: If you had the chance to write a novel/short story/set of poetry/etc with the guarantee that it would be published and you would make millions, what would you write and what would it be about?

Theodosia of the Fathomless Hall (taelianaofthewind) | 1580 comments Hm. Probably an alternate-history story inspired by my initial concept of A Tale of Two Cities--That is to say a parallel-universe sort of thing! First one is a sort of adventure-type thing set in a faintly English town, with flying devices a bit like this (actually entirely like this!):
(Fudge. I can't find the picture! Basically a ten-foot-wide structure, similar to da Vinci's concept of a flying machine, affixed to the shoulders.)
Anyway--and with rather a lot of drama, accidentally-added blackmail, and hurriedly constructed plots. Semi Na-No-Wri-Mo story, you see.
Second one--Set on the Orient Express, traveling to the Mid-East. Expect one poisoning, one recurring character, some character development, and drama. Naturally. It's a work in progress!

TTPBM: Favorite compositions, musically? Essentially, you know, favorite pieces of music except quite unnecessarily-said.

Theodosia of the Fathomless Hall (taelianaofthewind) | 1580 comments Irene wrote: "Spirit animal? Ummm, not sure what you are referencing here, but! I shall give you the critter that I was told I would get if I had a patronous (not sure if I spelled that right, someone Harry Pott..."

(Patronus! I'm not the resident Harry Potter expert, but you did ask!)
Irene wrote: "@Priya: It's basically your favorite fictional romantic paring. Like, you can pick a current couple (like say Katniss and Peta from the Hunger Games) or you can make one of your own. I think some g..."
(Shipping, right. ;). I know @Priya--It was very confusing to me, it took me months to figure it out! Or... rather... ask Johanna!)

johanna (jo) (johannad_m) | 11500 comments Mod
A 'ship' is a couple, or pairing (whether it be characters or real people). So, Annabeth Chase + Percy Jackson, or Rose + The Doctor, etc. When you are shipping a ship/two people, you're basically matchmaking them, or saying, 'I approve of this pairing.'

As in like, instrumental, or just songs? Because I can't really choose either way.

Theodosia of the Fathomless Hall (taelianaofthewind) | 1580 comments Either one ;). Just songs.

Aw geez. Okay. Anything by Relient K.

TTPBM: Something you're saving up for?

message 8533: by Irene (new)

Irene (wingdesilverii) A car and a bookshelf...yes, I know, practical things :)

TTPBM: Something you are saving up for that is not practical (like a book, it's entertainment, where as an umbrella is a practical item)?

message 8534: by johanna (jo), soliloquist. (new)

johanna (jo) (johannad_m) | 11500 comments Mod
A Relient K album pack of their first three CDs.

TTPBM: Last song you listened to?

message 8535: by Irene (new)

Irene (wingdesilverii) I don't know the name but it's that new song by One Republic!

TTPBM: Favorite activity to do that does NOT involve the internet or an electronic device?

TTPBM: Last thing you cooked/baked?

Reading.
TTPBM: Last thing you did off the computer?

message 8538: by Irene (new)

Irene (wingdesilverii) @MJ: Maybe? I have been too lazy to go look it up....

The last thing I cooked/baked was breakfast and I made an omelet.

Took a friend's children to see a Disney show thing.

TTPBM: Last thing you saw?

Last thing I saw? Like a film?

message 8543: by MJ (new)

MJ Woody (harpsickhord) Purple.

TTPBM: Has read/seen A Game of Thrones?

Wait, that was to Irene... And yes, I've seen the first season of Doctor Who, and am on Season 2.

Sherlock question

message 8548: by Irene (new)

Irene (wingdesilverii) Yes! I finally got sucked into Doctor Who and while i'm not particularly hardcore and am like a season behind I enjoy it :) I'm currently eyeing a TARDIS tea infuser but it's like 30 bucks that I don't have to spend on a tea infuser >.<

TTPBM: Last book you read and enjoyed that is NOT popular?

message 8549: by Mallory (new)

Mallory | 11 comments I recently read Bag Of Bones by Stephen King and Lolita by Vladimir Nobokov... don't know if those are "popular"...

TTPBM: What are your reasons for living?

message 8550: by Irene (new)

Irene (wingdesilverii) .....What sort of question is that?!?! Isn't that a little deep???

Okay, in all seriousness, I have a lot to live for and life has so many beautiful things in it. I have a shot to help add to some of that beauty and take away some of the pain, so why wouldn't I take it? Why wouldn't I live and feel so alive and good to the point where I almost feel invincible? Sure life hurts, sure you loose people, but it can't rain all the time, you just have to spot the sun through the clouds.

TTPBM: What is a simple thing that you enjoy?
