Not too shocked, but disappointed. I'm totally okay with the whole homosexual thing - I'm bisexual myself - but it seemed so out of character and sudden. Like, "Hey actually ALL of that anger and sadness and loneliness and EVERYTHING negative about Nico all came from the fact that he was struggling with his sexuality and WOAH he's got a crush on Percy and BAM that just happened and whatever." It felt like a split-second decision on Riordan's part. Like, don't you think in the previous books we would've had Nico doing starry eyes at Percy? Staring at him pensively like a little girl with a crush? ANYTHING? Nope. Just BAM.
So I was a little disappointed.

Modern...I haven't had the time to get into classics. Eventually I hope to read all the Sherlock Holmes and the LOTR and Les Mis (unabridged) and whatever other good classic literature, but with my very little time now, I'll stick with modern crud. xD

I can't remember the name, but it was a really lame and cheesy story about 3 people getting stuck on a island. I didn't even finish the movie, it was so bad :P.

Nope. I don't like getting hurt, so I don't do many physical things that could allow for it. Anti-daredevil here. Haven't even been stung by a bee/wasp/anything...

I'm the opposite :). I find myself always getting hurt somehow. I've never broken a bone, but I have gotten stitches. I also have had a nail gone all the way through my foot, and I've stepped on a metal spike brush (for dogs).

People who won't admit that other people are also human beings just like themselves. We both bleed red. We both breathe the same air and eat the same nutrients, so STOP ACTING LIKE YOU'RE SO SPECIAL. Women, men, anyone who classifies themselves differently, whatever. You're a human, and I'm a human. Pretty simple concept.

Nose picking. If there a little kid (like five or under...) it doesn't bother me. But I've seen middle school boys do it. It's just...gross.

They will read that I am a bestselling author in epic fantasy and mystery and am a female/gay rights activist. I live in Scotland with six cats, two dogs, and a monkey. I have also traveled the world and donated money to charities along with helping the homeless and the starving.

Erm...
Basically just that I am homeschooled, and started writing my first book when I was nine. Oh, and most importantly I'll mention the fact that I'm a Christian. That will definitely be on there.
